I can easily relate to your experience. I had a close female friend Inioluwa too who had to relocate to London. It was first a nightmare and to date, we have not seen or heard from each other.
We used to be very close, we played a lot together and were even classmates.

Yeah... the first days in school without them are the hardest, but as you get closer to other friends, the absence will become easier to bear. Even though you never forget them.
