As in ehn... People give themselves reasons to remain in a relationship that's clearly not good for them. They can even go as far as defending their abusers. It's sad really, and this is the one mind of issue where you can only help them out if they want you to.
It’s even sadder in cases when they won’t let you help them. Some people have taken it as their fate.
