It’s indeed a new year, and now, we’re on a course for new things. There have been resolutions, but by now, I’m sure that everyone already knows what exactly they want from the year 2026. We all know what we have to do to get what we want, and also know the amount of work that we’d have to put in to make it work. We know that it won’t be easy, but at this point, it doesn’t really matter anymore because whether it’s easy or not, we’re already in the new year. So we have to do it regardless.
Change is coming, especially in my corner of the world. There have been changes in policies, laws, and whatnot, and the most important of these is the tax laws. Something that only seems to be concerned about taking money from people, but not giving back anything at all. That seems to be the situation we’ll be facing this year. But that will be a post for another day.

For today, I’ll be talking about the topic. And of course, I’m going to be even more intentional about networking. Going out, meeting new people, and making new friends. There are, of course, those currently in my life that I would very much love to cut off, and I’ve already done that. Probably because we’re not moving in the same direction, and our priorities are just so different. I just have to move on, believing that I’m making the right choice and doing the right thing.
Last year, I made a promise to myself to be more outgoing and meet new people. I did that, and I met the most amazing people on earth. That was where I found the courage to start content creation on the Web2 platform, and I’ve been kicking it ever since. It was also thanks to my promise that I was able to meet notable personalities like Eric Gugua, Kagan Tech, Salem King, MC Lively, Aproko Doctor, and the list goes on.

I realized that getting certain things done is actually easy. The hardest part will always be starting, but once you give yourself that initial push and keep building momentum, eventually, things will have a way of working out. It might take time, you might not get immediate results, but as long as you’re serious about this and making it work regardless of everything, you’ll end up getting what you want.
And this year, I will definitely meet more people and go out a bit more. I also plan to take more traveling trips. In 2025, I didn’t travel as much as I would have loved, but I’m hoping that it will be different this time around. And it will definitely be me traveling in style. Breaking out of my shell to do the very thing that I love, this is what new beginnings should be all about. And having people around me who pull me down or hinder me from going after my goal just defeats the purpose.
So yeah, people will go snip snip. It may be hard, but it’s definitely needed. It’s a New Year, so I need New People in my life.

Happy New Year. Change is ok as long as it's good for you. I also agree with you that starting is the most difficult after that momentum works and things feel normal after that.
Oh yeah, we just need that first burst of strength to actually start. Once that is taken care of, we'll be fine.
