It’s Christmas!! Yay!!!

This is the part of the month we’ve been looking forward to since the very first day of December, and now that we’re finally here, I say let the fun begin. I have quite a number of things planned out for today, but before I set out, I decided to come here to drop a little message.

No matter what it is you’re going through, try to make the best of the season. And I’m not saying you must eat rice and chicken, or go on exotic trips. I just saying that finding a reason to laugh, smile, and be merry is enough reason for you during this season. The main point is to be happy. Be happy with yourself, and be happy with your family as well. That’s what’s very important.

One of the promises I made to myself this season was to make sure I enjoyed it, and I’ve been trying my best to stick to that promise. I’ve been spending the last few days with friends, something I’ve not done in a while now because I just didn’t have the time due to my tight work schedule.

It was actually good to spend time with friends, seeing each other again after a long time was fun and there was just so much to talk about. And then, the fact that there is still so much more to be done for the rest of the holiday just gives me Goosebumps thinking about it all.

Now that Christmas is finally here, I don’t think there’ll be anything work-related I’ll be doing besides this post I’m making, and the moment it’s done, I’ll immediately get to work. So far, I’m thinking of just taking myself out and having fun. It’s something I’ve always done, and it makes me enjoy the acts even more. Especially now that I’m considering going to the cinema, I’m thinking of watching Aquaman 2 which came out recently, and this would be a nice time to do it.

The only downside I can think of right now is that the mall will be jampacked with people. The cinema itself might not be full of people, because movie tickets are kinda high these days, but I can bet that the restaurants and fast food there will be loaded with people. The idea of going in there to struggle with everyone is frightening.

And then, I’m also planning to pay a visit to my village. There are a lot of people I have to see, and if I don’t see them during this period, it could be till December of next year.

So many things are happening right now, even the weather has taken a break from being so hot and the harmattan has come back with full force. Homes around me are already cooking their Christmas meals, it’s going to turn out to be a delicious and mouthwatering day. I’m looking forward to every single thing there is to enjoy about it.

So, my dear friends, I wish you a Merry Christmas. Remember to enjoy the day to the best of your ability, and take as many pictures as you can, so that the events of this day will live on, and you’ll always be able to look back on them and smile.
