You cannot live without the internet;
No, not in this generation.
You need the internet to survive;
You need data just like humans need air.

You cannot live without social media;
No, not in this generation.
You need social media to make transactions;
You need social media to market and advertise your products.
You need social media just as humans need food.

You cannot live without a smartphone;
No, not in this generation.
How else can you access the internet without a smartphone??
How else can you make transactions and advertise your products on social media??
You need a smartphone just as humans need water.

True and logical as this this may sound, it's a blatant deception.
This deception has the masses turned into zombies, chasing after the wind and reaping harvests of depression.

The issue is not so much as what the internet and social media have to offer but the addiction and total dependence that come with it to the point where one feels uneasy when they've not surfed for a while.

You can live without all these absurdities and still live a fulfilled life.
You can choose when to access the internet and when not to; you don't have to be a junkie and a freak.
You need to put your life in the perspective of the things that matter.

The money that's wasted on data bundles, the time spent on the internet and social media platforms, the feelings of sorts experienced in viewing other people's stories and statuses and thinking they're doing better than you when in reality, you're doing way better than them.

There are a lot to accomplish
And those things can only be accomplished when you learn to do away with the noise and spend alone times in perfecting your craft.
It's about time this generation learnt some sense otherwise it's all to lose and nothing to gain.

The internet and social media are necessities but not needs whereby you stop existing without them.
Until you learn how to gain mastery over things, you'll always be a slave to whatever development that pops up.
Thank you..see you another time
