Unexpected People At Unexpected Places

in Hive Learners2 days ago

Hello Hive Learners Community! Welcome to my blog. During Tourism and Travelling around the world, we met many sorts of people. Their attitude, culture, and way of hospitality varies from place to place. Some people have been found rude when tourists enter their territories, and some people have been found very nice and polite. It is natural, and we humans don't have the same level of thinking. It is not only our thinking that makes us different but also our way of dealing. Being a 26-year-old man, I have visited some places in Pakistan where I have learned many things from the people that I'm going to share in this article.

All Are Not Equal

In December 2021, I visited Northern Pakistan, where my experience with people has been incredible. Still, I can remember those vivid and friendly faces in my mind. During this tour, we stayed at a local shop near Swat where we met a humble Pashtun. It was raining heavily outside, and we needed a shelter to spend a few hours until the rain slowed down. It was a Simple Tuck Shop where we bought some snacks and took permission to stay there as there was rain outside. He not only allowed it but also presented his blanket. Our bodies were Shivering due to the cold, so he prepared tea and soup for us. The taste of tea and soup was fantastic, and I have not tasted it in my life. We spent three hours in his shop, and it was more like family time. We still missed his chitchat and caring behavior. It was the best hospitality in my whole life. Such a humble and noble man! I even have seen it in my life. People around Swat are good and very hospitable.

Similarly, we also visited Kalam. The attitude of people there was very strange. They were only dealing with business. No ethics for hospitality. There were snowfalls, and we were tired and stuck in the snow. We talked to a Jeep Driver about making a trip to a safe place. He did this deal on his desirable rent. Anyway, we reached a hotel where there was a heater and rooms for a comfortable night's stay. The staff at the hotel also started demanding extra rent and extra money for the dining. As we didn't have any other option, we were forced to accept the deal. We spent three days there to survive. These three days were like hell. We were not expecting such type attitude, but we are sorry people have habits of hurting and crushing others' hope.

Final Thoughts

These two experiences speak a lot. All are not equal, so we should not have the same approach for the people. But we should treat tourists in a good manner. If someone doesn't have any other option, we need to sacrifice and help him or her as much as we can. Humanity is the most precious thing in the world. Money can distribute us, but it gathers us into its shade. Anyway, I learned many lessons during this tour. I'm still thankful for the people who played either a good or bad role in my life. They all were the source of learning for me. Whenever I had a plan to visit Northern Pakistan, I preferred to visit Swat instead of Kalam and present my gifts to that nobleman if he was still alive.

Pardon me if I offend anyone but I have felt deceit and rude behaviour in whole potohari region. The people I found were mostly so mean and profit oriented. There was no hospitality or meekness in them.
Contrary to them , I was so astonished to see the kind behaviour of desert region

Different people have different experiences hence I said, All are not Equal. Thank you for your suggestions.

This is what I love about the asian countries. These people are very hospitable. I am proud to be a part of these people. These people sometimes remind me that humanity is still alive, and well.
