Hello everyone!
I hope you all are doing well. My final exams are starting from 14th May. I was fed up with studying so, I decided to do something.
It was Sunday today and I forgot that.
As I have holidays from college for exam preparations, anyway it's good that my sister reminded me of that.
Recently, I have downloaded an app on my phone. One of my friends recommended this to me for digital art. I was so excited to use it. I picked up my phone and started searching for some digital art pieces.
I saw a beautiful piece of mandala art. It was a sketch on paper so, I decided to try it digitally.
And here's the final look at my first-ever digital mandala art.
- I used the ibis Paint X app on my mobile phone.
- I don't have a stylus so, I used my thumb.
Procedure:
I opened the app on my phone and chose 1 by 1 sized page.
I marked the centre of the page and drew a circle and a flower in it.
Then I drew another circle and filled it with different-sized petals.
It was looking empty so I filled some colour in it.
At the surface, I made some cones-like shapes, split them into halves and drew some zigzag lines. I covered it with a circle and moved forward. I then made an oval erased its half part and again drew a circle on its boundary.
At first, it looked so easy to do digital art but step by step I realized that it was even more difficult than sketching on paper when you don't have a stylus.
Anyway, then I made some more petals and filled them with different lines.
Now comes the main part where it took the main effort.
It was the time to add a triangle.
I erased the sides of the circle which were outside the triangle but it was difficult for me for further progress so, I completed the circle again.
And drew some lines in it. I added some more design and filled it with colour.
I tried to make something different in it. I filled the circle with different things inside and outside the triangle.
I made cones on the outside and small circles on the inside. The circles were looking s weird and the process was time-consuming so firstly, I made some collectively and then added a little bit gap in it. Now it looks much better than before.
I showed it to my mum. She said that the petals are looking a bit awkward so I added some design in them.
My hand got tired so I took a break for some time and then continued after half an hour.
I continued my work, drew some more designs and filled colour in them.
The middle space was empty so I made some dots there.
Now it was the final layer of the circle. I made some small triangles in it.
I marked the middle line and then erased the upper side from the right and the lower side from the left.
Now it was the turn of the corners.
This step was my favourite among the rest.
I drew some different-sized circles on the top of the right side.
Filled them with the design. I made different-sized lines in the circle and then added some more lines in between them.
I made the same design on the bottom of the left side.
I was happy that I finished this on time but then I recognized that I forgot to fill the small triangles.
I was so tired so I hurriedly completed it. I drew some lines in them with opposite directions.
Hers the final look.
I hope that you will like it.
I am going to study now.
Byeee!!
