Learning history enables us to understand the pathway from where we have reached the point where we are today. History is a source of both inspiration and lessons. Taking lessons from the mistakes of the past and inspirations from the actions of our former generations makes us able to overcome our challenges.
History also enables us to understand our uniqueness and accept ourselves wholeheartedly.
I agree with everything you say.
But nowadays it seems that people do not learn from history, at least here in these parts of South America that is what is clear. People continue to make the same mistakes over and over again, and I see that we have a long way to go to live on a humanized and sustainable planet, being a species that honors a superior and developed intelligence, without being artificial.
Note: Can you believe that these days I was thinking about visiting your publications and in between so much content that comes into my hands, and my new job as moderator of a Hispanic project on Saturdays. Do I forget frequently? I'm going to have to schedule a time to visit you at least once a week 😀
You reminded me of a quote I read years ago.
The greatest lesson from the history of Muslims is that they never learned a lesson from the history.
Seems like it is the truth for most of the nations.
I believe that. It happens to me too when I miss some online fellow we do come across without deliberate arrangement. It makes me believe the existence of electromagnetic rays emitting from our hearts.
Well, there is no obligation to visit me. Hehehe. Let's build this readership relation organically without feeling compelled for any reason 😀
Plus, I am not that active these days either.
No worries.
Greetings
