Phones are very important to our society today. I don't really think that the society can do without phones. We have come to that level that we use phones in almost everything we do.
Before now when we don't even know anything about phones people were just okay sending written letters as a means of communication and also moving from one market to another buying things that we need no matter how far. But friends today it is entirely different. We now sit in the comfort of our homes and make orders, just open our doors and collect them. Things have become easier for us. We don't struggle to do some things now because we have phones. I remember those days when someone will be sent to a very far away land just to inform another person of the death of his parents. It takes the person going weeks or even months to accomplish this. Sometimes before the person comes back the dead have been long buried and the rest will be story. All these are part of the advantages of the phones we use in our society today.
Not withstanding, we still have lots of disadvantages when it comes to using of phones. When we look at our schools today we will discover that most students don't want to read anymore. Why? Because of phones. They get everything at a snap of a finger. Introduction of artificial intelligence has made it worse especially for students. Our people say that everything that have advantage will also have it's own disadvantages. We just need to check to see if the advantages are more than the advantages. At that point we can say that it does more harm than good. I believe that if the use of phones in school will be allowed for students, it will cost more harm than good.
MY ANSWER IS NO.
I don't support it at all. I'm a trained teacher and I know what it means for a student to search for information by themselves, get the answer after everything, the knowledge for that student will not go out easily. But when a student just carry his phone to the class, google all the answers and just write them down. Use the phone to solve mathematical equations, use the phone in every classroom or lecture hall. Then we have done nothing for that child.
As a matter of fact, a child can just be at home and just use the phone to do everything without going to school. But will that child ever be useful in life? No. That child will just lazy about and always wanting to just google every solution to problems of life. It doesn't work that way. Our students must learn how to solve life problems themselves not depending on a robot to do it for them.
In summary, I prefer that a student learn all the method of going about life issues by himself. I'd we allow them use phone to class room, we are equally telling them not to use their brian to do anything. He should just sit down and ask the AI for everything. That child will get to a level where he will feel useless because he can't do anything. As teachers I believe that we should have limit on how the students should use their phones in school. Let there be time for the child to solve problems using his head and when the phones are needed it should be allowed.

You have successfully made your valid point cleared. I don't also support the motion of students using phones in classes owing to the moral decadence we are battling with.
Thanks for sharing on this edition.
The world is indeed getting more sophisticated with the presence of mobile phones among us, of course, it is easier to communicate with each other, but if children use mobile phones, it is certainly very inappropriate because they are not only the tasks they see on the mobile phone, if the mobile phone is active with the internet, of course they can click on unimportant applications that they should not know, My suggestion is that teachers should be more disciplined in overcoming this case.
Great text, as you said, cell phones are necessary for communication nowadays, but at school, I believe they should be restricted, because otherwise the person will research everything on the internet and end up avoiding really studying, because they look for the answer to the question without even understanding the context.
