One Of My Favourite Memory Of This Season

Finally, it's the last month of the year, and only a few days are left. We have so much to do in these remaining days, and the last month of the year feels like a festival. People often look forward to the Christmas season because it's a time when they create some of their best memories. These memories can be with themselves, their families, or their friends. Everyone has their own unique memories. School children get their holidays during this time, and they enjoy themselves a lot with their families or friends, often planning parties. College students also plan trips and parties, and even those who work in offices have a lighter workload, allowing them to work more relaxed and enjoy a few days off to celebrate and bid farewell to the year.

Now, since everyone has memories associated with this season, I also have some old memories that I still remember from this time of year. This is about the time when we were in 9th grade, and it was a completely different time that I always miss. Usually, our winter vacation for the lower grades would start from the third week of December, lasting about 40 days, and it was a much-awaited time. We would eagerly anticipate when the winter vacation would begin so we could enjoy ourselves. That time was truly enjoyable because during the winter vacation, we could play as much as we wanted until evening, and there was no hassle of going to school. Besides, we could go anywhere we wanted for as many days as we liked, and it was a very relaxing time. It was around Christmas time, and our holidays had started, so some of my friends and I made a plan to go out. This was probably our first such plan at that time. Our plan was to go to a distant forest, play some games, cook something to eat, and bring some other snacks, and just enjoy ourselves together. We planned to leave early in the morning, and preparations were made regarding who would bring what. Mobile phones didn't exist back then, so we simply fixed a meeting place and time, and that's what we did that day. All the friends arrived on time, and we headed towards a forest near our school. We had to climb a little, and then there was a very nice playground where we planned to play cricket. The sun was quite nice, and everyone got to work. We formed two teams, and the players who weren't batting were given the task of making noodles. They started preparing to make the noodles. We were quite young, so we didn't have much knowledge, but one of our friends had complete experience in cooking, so he was guiding everyone. First, we all played games for a long time, almost two innings of a match. After that, we got really hungry, so we started cooking noodles. The noodles were ready in no time, and then we ate a lot of noodles and had a lot of fun.

The noodles were finished, but we were still hungry, so we had brought plenty of other food with us, which we enjoyed thoroughly. Even after eating all that, we still had plenty of time left, so we went to a nearby zoo and saw many wild animals that were kept in cages at the time. Entry was free for a while, so we stayed there for quite some time, and after having a lot of fun together, we all headed back home. Perhaps there hasn't been a day since then when all of us friends have gone out together like that and done so much. We do go out, but we don't get to do so much, and these days will probably never come back. Friends, these kinds of experiences are rare in life, and whenever you get such an opportunity, you should definitely seize it. They are very rare, and such experiences don't come often.
