I wouldn't Recommend Self Driving Cars in My Locality

With the way technology is progressing, there are many sectors where a lot of development has taken place and this development is such that man could never have imagined. Today you can see how technology shows its magic. If we look at the automobile industry, technology keeps developing in this industry as well. Automobile companies keep doing research to provide better service to their users and improve the user experience by putting it in the product. You can also find out this thing yourself that you must be seeing how much difference there is between old vehicles and new vehicles. Today, if you are driving a 10-year-old car and a recently launched car, then you will see many differences in both these vehicles. Mainly here the difference is about the stability of the car and its control and its safety features. Most of the companies work on something. Like the cars that used to come earlier had manual transmission, but the cars that are coming today mostly have automatic transmission. Basically, manual transmission is a bit difficult and it takes a lot of time to understand it and it keeps the driver very busy. But with the advent of automatic transmission, the control over the vehicle increases and the driver drives the vehicle in a very relaxed manner. He only has to deal with the brake and the accelerator, the rest of the transmission automates the vehicle itself. In manual transmission, the driver has to shift the gears manually and basically he decides all this by looking at the road conditions, load, traffic and the slope of the road. However, both types of technology have some advantages and some disadvantages.

Now here we are talking about some of the aspects of vehicle technology. Now we will talk about a technology which can be a revolutionary technology. This technology is called self-driving car and if seen, this technology is based on artificial intelligence. You must have heard a lot about such technology in the past and today there are many such vehicles in the market which work on self-driving mechanism. If seen, this is such a good technology that you do not even have to worry about driving the car, you just sit on the seat and the car will drive on its own and you can control it from anywhere and many more features are available.

If I give my opinion in this, if any government is giving permission to run self-driving cars, then first of all the government should ensure that the road on which the vehicle will run is built according to self-driving cars. Like there should be no pedestrians walking on the road, along with this, there should be a maximum speed limit in the route there. The most important thing here is that the road should be double lined and there should be a special lane specially for self-driving cars so that the self-driving car should only run inside that lane and no one should drive manually inside the lane. According to me, there are many other such safety rules which the government should ensure first so that no one gets hurt.

If I talk about my locality, there is currently no scope for self-driving cars here because the roads here are generally very narrow and because of being narrow, many times it happens that if two big vehicles are coming face to face, then it takes a lot of time for them to cross each other. Along with this, there are single lanes here, due to which many times collision situations also occur. Another problem here is that on the road on which vehicles run, pedestrians also walk and many times pedestrians cross the road without looking, due to which many times accidents happen.

I feel that the best road for self driving cars is one where there is very less traffic and no public interference of any kind. Public interference sometimes invites accidents. No matter how many claims these companies make, we cannot trust the machines hundred percent because these things can malfunction and deceive you at any time.
