Small Skipper (Thymelicus sylvestris)

in Hive Learners3 years ago (edited)

This skipper is a common winged insect and widespread species found in the grassland, shrubland, and woodland edges. Its favorite place is tall grasses and wildflowers. This species of skipper has brown marks on both wings and a yellow abdomen. It is classified into a small skipper (Thymelicus sylvestris) with yellow, the moth-like butterfly that flies rapidly and often has its wings closed at rest. The small skipper stays under the same family of butterfly Hesperiidae, in the genus Thymelicus.
