RE: When objective statements are distorted by your taste and age

I've seen some Polyphia videos and Henson can definitely play. I don't know where he got inspiration, but it does not seem to be from old blues guitarists.

Have you seen It Might Get Loud where Jimmy Page, The Edge and Jack White represent different generations of guitarists? They all innovated in their own ways and others have taken music in other directions.

I do find with Youtube that you get a lot of people just showing off, but I do find new music that I will buy and listen to. We could use this community to share new stuff we find.

It's not electric guitar, but I've seen Jon Gomm live and I wouldn't know where to start with what he plays.

Always interesting these kind of documentaries that go deep into the sound and the origins of famous artists. Really inspirational.

Oh the acoustic guitar has its own whole world of innovation that I don't know nothing about and watching players like this Jon Gomm always fascinates me and get me hypnotized
