Many times when taking photography, I focus on looking for striking elements such as landscapes, flowering trees or colorful animals. But I hardly pay attention to what is right at my feet.

On these days I go for a walk in the neighborhood observing the nearby gardens and parks and I have noticed the beautiful little plants that often grow next to the grass.

They come in a variety of shapes and colors, just what you are looking for when you want to take good pictures. The ones that have caught my attention the most are the plants with purple leaves, as they make a wonderful contrast with the green of the other plants. I think the genus of these plants is Tradescantia, which has many species with medicinal qualities.
