Just a couple of days ago I got this one post-processed. I realized, this is one of my favorite images from my travels to Iceland. Not a drone shot but a high altitude one definitely.
This is the Maryhill Stonehenge from above.
Something different for sure. Lit by 4 friends and captured by the drone. What you see is a replica of England's Stonehenge located in Maryhill, Washington, United States. The view from there is fantastic yet we wanted to feature the shadows it can create. Also, I wanted to create light from within and not from the outside. It's a bit strange to look at but once you understand what you looking at it's pretty cool.
Hope you like it as much as I do.
When I bought a drone a few weeks ago I couldn't have asked for a better first flight (not counting practicing in a parking lot). The clouds were spectacular and they blew up with intense color during sunset. This is a 3x3 panorama of San Francisco taken from the bay surrounding the city.
Let's throw some craziness in here. The noise level is a bit high in some areas but i think the view is compensating for it
This is so cool. Love the colors.
So hard to choose! I'm a huge sucker for this kind of braided rivers and I was over the moon when I was able to capture them in Iceland. This is one of my favorite shots I took of them and it's actually hanging as a print in my dining room.
One of my favorite shots from above. Spirals and swirls of foam on the Sinichka River, not far from my home. Launching the drone, I did not think that I would see such beauty :)
One of my favorite drone shots!
My first real drone sunrise. Shot was taken only 80cm off the ice but could never be achieved on foot.
You obviously haven't seen @jarvie's 50 foot tripod then. 😃
This a shot looking down at the river Calder and locks splitting into the Aire and Calder navigation on a very cold December morning. Its one of the first decent shots I got with the drone as I had not long had it.
One of my favorite cityscape in the blue hour... 😍
Here is my entry, spiced up by a slice of !PIZZA :) Yeah, it's about Italy <3
As usual, it was hard to pick one photo to participate, so I have published a separate post with more photos, taken from the same tower in Tuscany: https://peakd.com/hive-153349/@lightcaptured/love-from-above-photofeed-theme-contest-from-above-15

My entry:
Thanks for the contest! 😊
...
Not that long ago we hiked up the Estepona Mountain in Spain. The views we saw from above where mesmerising. Down below there was sea mist and fog. Just showing some mountains and hills and houses if you look closely. It was later on the day. Just before sunset.
Enjoy 😊
I am currently working on my drone skills so this contest is wright for me! But i don't enter a drone picture because this is what i think is the best shot i took from above! This is in the library in Spijkenisse in the Netherlands and it's called the mountain of books! You can see why they gave it that name! I will make a post of this soon so f you like that, follow me to see the whole story :)
it is an honor to join in this photofeed contest for the first time
here is my entry from above. i happened to be standing on the footbridge over the entrance to the inner harbor for this shot

The little known Pink Lake of Melbourne
Unhappy Classic Tour
I stand for a while on the Almendares bridge's sidewalk, waiting for the parade of beautiful classic convertibles packed with tourists to pass down bellow, but this one caught my attention, none of those ladies down there were thrilled about the journey. What could happen?

Hello,
Here is my contribution to the contest.
A zenithal photography of a fast ferry while it was sailing
Going through my drone photos makes me realize I need to get my drone out more often. Here's one from one of the first flights.
Hi! Here is my entry:
A long shadow cast by a lighthouse.
This was taken from the top of Table Mountain, Cape Town, South Africa. Everything looks so small when it's so high up.
Hello, really impressive by your entries !!! This is mine:

I really appreciate this topic
(from above)very informative
This is a picture I took from the mountain top it was a stressful one because I have to navigate through bushes and wrought road before I could get the shots
Hey guys, my entry for the from above contest.
This is me looking down through my lens to get a good shot of my subject playing the game of chess.
Most of the times, when taking out the drone, I drive to the lake, the forest or the farmfields. But sometimes I take the Mini 2 instead of the Air2S, and fly it in front of my door.
This one, is from a little next to the front of my door, where I flew the mini to the church tower during sunrise, view from above.
