Milkyway shot with shooting stars.
Mother and Sun under the Southern Sky of South Africa.
This photograph is one of the series I took of a friend a few weeks ago. There is a good article on it in my blog. You find also more info on the location etc.
If you have a closer look you find two shooting stars. That was totally unexpected and a super surprise for the last shot of the night. All the others did not have a single meteor or so in them.
That's a stunning shot! Thanks for joining in! :))
I should do this much more often ;-)
Time flys and if often get stuck in the everyday stuff
Thank you, guys!
Thank you @Photofeed for the innovation in your contests. I find it very interesting to open it up to new ways of seeing the world around us.
This photograph was taken in the Buenos Aires neighbourhood of Puerto Madero on a cloudy day. To get that silky effect of the sky and the water, I had to shoot at very low speed using a neutral density filter that reduced the entry of light by 10 f-stops, namely the Big Stopper from Lee Filters. The camera settings were 30" with the aperture at f:22 and ISO100.
Unless stated otherwise, all the pictures and the words are mine.
Do not use this image without my written permission.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.

Love it - Great work! :))
Many thanks!
This is a picture from my Antarctic Expedition. Photo taken during one of the few cloudless nights on King George Island. This lighthouse is my daily view from the window for the 15 months I spent on the Polish Antarctic Station. We waited a long time for a beautiful cloudless sky to come out and finally capture the view. This is a rare sight for city dwellers, where light pollution is high and does not allow one to see the beauty of the night sky.
What a stunning entry! Thanks a bunch for participating! :))
Had my eye on this location and idea for about 7 years and was finally able to pull it off this last summer.
Single shot, 16mm, 6s, ISO 1600.
Yap, great as always! :))
The stormy seascape and wave action. Love the effect long exposure gives this way.
Looks almost surreal - Thanks for the great entry!
This photo is taken last November 8. The lunar eclipse. The moon passes the earth's shadow. The sky is so dark. The moon's color is red.

It's really sad for me to want to see Antarctica clearly because it is a rare image in my eyes.
