You live in a great country where the train services work and one can get an annual ticket. Over here our entire train system was destroyed and even the heavy tracks were stolen by scrap metal collectors. The stations were also stripped and some people even built their shacks on the train lines.
My daughter in the UK said that they love the efficient train services ๐

Easy by train Hannes, all that you need to do is to go and sit on the roof of the train ๐คฃ !LOLZ
Also over here some years ago as everything worked very well, but over time with no maintenance everything fell apart. However they are trying to revive it now and I think that it will come at a great cost to be restored. For the sake of the people I hope that they get it functioning properly again.

Here you would have a big problem if you climbed on the roof of a train, and "train surfing" has killed quite a lot of people here because of the high voltage lines above.
I was just thinking of trains in India where the roofs are full of people ๐ !LOLZ

From time to time you hear in the news of hurt or died kids who wanted to impress their friends by surfing on a train.
Here you even might have to leave the train and wait for the next one if there's no place to sit, but it depends on the situation, I believe, because the subways in Vienna are packed with people ๐ !LOLZ
