Toothpaste On The Street - PhotoFeed Contest Street Photography Round 151

One thing with advertisements is that they do more than just show a product — they spark desire, especially when they're striking just like this giant Colgate toothpaste installation in the photo.

There's no doubting the huge impact this ad would have on the people, and the company too. It would surely drive demand. There's every likelihood that some people would switch to using Colgate. And the result - more sales and revenue for the company. Of course, that tops the list of the reasons a company embarks on an advertisement campaign.

But more than that, the company is making just one clear statement with this Colgate design - prioritize oral care. Basically, this ad is a gentle reminder to passersby that oral care is as much important as health care. Message passed.

Now, I'm sure you would be wondering where this gigantic piece is located. Well, it's no other place than the ever busy Brass junction here in my city, Aba. I believe some of you staying around here might seen it too. Brass junction connects roads leading to Faulks road, Abayi down to Osisioma and then Aba/Owerri road down to Park road.

I give kudos to the company's media team for the initiative to put this thing up. It's simply eye-catching and has added beauty to the space. In fact, it has created a nice backdrop or background for people to take photos. 😂 Yeah, I see people taking pictures there.
