Harvesting and Hoeing

In entering the PhotoFeed: Portrait Photography round 146 contest, I will be submitting two portrait photos of farmers: one hoeing, and the other harvesting rice.
I took both photos at the same time and place. Amidst green rice paddies, with a forest and sky in the background, two farmers are toiling under the hot sun. With dripping sweat and wrinkled skin, they both work hard, as if the heavy burden of life weighs on their shoulders. The contrast between these two expressions depicts the reality of a farmer's life, filled with joy and sorrow.
