Hamsters at the Cementary

in PhotoFeed2 months ago

Hamasters and ground squirrels are probably my favorite rodents that I can find here in Austria. At a cementary in vienna I can get really close to them and taking pictures of them is really funny there. Their main time of activity is just before sunset and in the evening so it can be a bit challenging taking some pictures during the day. The later it gets the easier you can get some nice pictures of them. I usually look for their holes in the ground and lay down on the ground to wait for the hamsters to appear. This gives me the right angle to get some really nice pictures and it also gives the hamsters some time to adjust to my presence.

It was really nice watching the hamsterd doing their stuff, some of them felt so comfortable that I could take pictures of them cleaning their fur.

Greetings @florian-glechner ,

These are lovely photographs of this most unusually marked hamster....does he not for all the world look like a clergyman....and here he is at a cemetery.

Lovely work!

Cheers, Bleujay

Excellent photos as usually, have a great day, best regards 🙋🙋🙋🙋

Oh, that buddy is so cute. You know, and in my region, they're pretty dangerous, even though they're small, they can attack a dog or a person with a menacing hiss and jumping.

Oh really? Cannot Imagine this.

The images you show are very beautiful, and this one is trying to change style
