| В конце апреля мы с подругой побывали в очень интересном городе Гороховец. Это один из древнейших и колоритнейших городов Владимирской области. Финно-угорские поселения были на этом месте с VI века. В 1168 году князь Андрей Боголюбский основал здесь укреплённый пограничный пункт, давший начало городу. | At the end of April, my friend and I visited a very interesting city of Gorokhovets. This is one of the oldest and most colorful cities in the Vladimir region. Finno-Ugric settlements have been on this site since the 6th century. In 1168, Prince Andrei Bogolyubsky founded a fortified border checkpoint here, which gave rise to the city. |
| Это небольшой город, его можно осмотреть за один день. Но мы приехали на два, так как решили ещё посмотреть один удивительный дом в Володарском, расположенном недалеко от Гороховца. | This is a small city, you can see it in one day. But we came for two days, as we decided to see another amazing house in Volodarsky, located not far from Gorokhovets. |
| На второй день нашего пребывания с утра была чудесная погода. Мы решили сразу же подняться к обзорным площадкам на город ради вот этого открыточного вида. | On the second day of our stay, the weather was wonderful in the morning. We decided to immediately go up to the observation decks of the city for the sake of this postcard view. |

| На холме расположен Свято-Троице Никольский мужской монастырь. Именно от его стен открывается великолепный вид на город и на реку Клязьма. | On the hill is the Holy Trinity St. Nicholas Monastery. It is from its walls that a magnificent view of the city and the Klyazma River opens. |

| Несмотря на похолодание, вовсю цвели плодовые деревья в примыкающих к монастырю садам. На переднем плане - белые цветы, за ними вид на город. | Despite the cold snap, fruit trees were in full bloom in the gardens adjacent to the monastery. In the foreground are white flowers, behind them a view of the city. |

| Только отсюда мы смогли увидеть, расположенный на другом берегу реки Свято-Знаменский Красногривский женский монастырь. Был весенний разлив, поэтому понтонный мост через Клязьму пока ещё был в сложенном состоянии. | Only from here we were able to see the Svyato-Znamensky Krasnogrivovsky Convent located on the other side of the river. There was a spring flood, so the pontoon bridge across the Klyazma was still in a folded state. |
