Oh, so the same happens there. 😒
A biologist, the brother of one of my acquaintances explained that it was the lack of rain during the whole year and extreme temperatures but the solution is not just planting new pine trees now, but other trees that are more resistant... The consequences of these dried trees are not just an aesthetic thing but fewer trees mean more heat, and more erosion of the soil.
Do you have the plumbago flower planted in the garden or in a pot? I am wondering if I could have it in a pot and if it would grow nicely in the balcony...🤔
I was thinking the same thing, that the heat and pollution of the city is killing the pines. I have plumbago in my garden for three years already but it doesn't grow as well as you at, in Spain, because every winter the branches die because of the cold, but in spring new ones sprout and grow and bloom until the following fall. I am convinced it lives very well in a pot on the balcony. I have seen plumbago in big pots that they probably put in the house in winter.
Thank you for your answer, @bluemoon :)
