In the ten years since the establishment of Digital Bangladesh, there has been an unprecedented expansion of information and communication technology. Technology-based information and services have reached the fray of ordinary people. Experts describe this unforgettable development and advancement as information-technology as a digital renaissance. The ICT department has worked on the advice and direction of Prime Minister Information and Communication Technology Advisor Sajeeb Wazed Jai to create this digital renaissance.

The Department of Information and Communication Technology is working to increase the number of ICT professionals to 2 million by 2021, $ 1 billion in the ICT sector and 1 percent contribution to the GDP sector. Besides, Bangladesh is moving forward with the right goal of raising $ 1 billion in 20 years.
