Dear coffee lovers. Today I want to share with you Vietnamese coffee.
There are some typical coffees that I would like to recommend to you. I hope you will enjoy this post.
Iced milk coffee
Taste Atlas voted Vietnamese iced milk coffee as the second-best coffee in the world. Iced milk coffee is a harmonious combination of black coffee, condensed milk, and ice. Baristas put the coffee powder in a metal filter, and pour boiling water into it. Finally, wait for drops of black coffee to fall into a cup. This brewing method is the most common way to make filter coffee. The ingredients of standard iced milk coffee cups are Robusta beans or Arabica beans. They are grown in the highlands and hills in Vietnam. The quality and deliciousness of coffee beans also depend on the altitude at which they are grown.
Egg coffee
What makes egg coffee unique is the addition of an egg cream layer on top. The preparing coffee step is brewing filter coffee. The egg cream includes egg yolk, rum, condensed milk, and honey. After adding these ingredients according to the recipe, use a hand mixer to whip the mixture until it becomes whipping egg cream. You can add fresh milk or condensed milk to your taste.
Salted Coffee
The only difference between egg coffee and salted coffee is cream. Baristas mix coffee powder with a little bit of salt to brew coffee. Salted cream consists of whipping cream and salt. They use a hand mixer for whipping cream and salt to make salted cream. Salted coffee is a famous beverage of Hue city - the dreamland of Vietnam. I will introduce you to this city in another post. The characteristic strong bitterness of filter coffee with a mild saline taste and fatty taste of cream, what a perfect combination.
Filter Coffee
I prefer hand-brewed coffee to machine-brewed coffee. Filtered brew method keeps coffee's natural flavor intact. In my opinion, filter coffee is more bitter than machine-brewed coffee, although the acidity is less. The hand-brewed coffee aroma is perhaps more delicate than machine-brewed coffee. This difference is due to the typical brewing of both these coffee lines.
“ Sidewalk “ culture
Vietnamese people have a simple enjoying coffee culture called sidewalk coffee culture. International friends love this culture. Order a coffee, and choose a comfortable seat on the sidewalk. All you need to do now is immerse yourself in the street atmosphere and enjoy the taste of the world's second-best coffee.
Both egg coffee and salted coffee are new concepts for me. I think I would probably give the salted coffee a try over the egg one.

Nice writing, keep up the good work.
Egg coffee, it's really good when served with lemon juice so it doesn't smell fishy from the eggs :D
but I know the taste and benefits of egg coffee for those who need extra strength instantly :D
I never tasted salted and egg coffee, so it makes me feel so excited to try the two. I am so in love with coffee, how I wish I can taste this kind of coffee too. Thank you for sharing 😊
