Gourmet and arabica coffee: I relived old flavors

I have been thinking about the divided property of coffee: with it, my ideas fly faster. I am demanding when I drink it: I like it bitter, not so sweet, and above all hot. In my country there are many brands of coffee powder, but not all of them are good; quality is of great importance to me, and sometimes it is difficult to get it. Normally, I go where they give small samples of the prepared product. It is difficult because, even when there are free samples, the people in charge do not prepare well the very coffee they are promoting, so sometimes it seems like a crossroads to find a good one.

The selection of coffee is as important as the selection of beans in the cultivation and subsequent production process. I only buy from a specific brand, however, while shopping in the supermarket, I came across a gourmet powdered coffee called “Osole”; here I tell you how good it is.

Tasting

Tasting coffee is something I love, as long as it's tasty or they know how to prepare it. Sometimes, I avoid trying any sample coffee, because I know that I won't end up liking all of them. This time, while shopping, I passed by a stand where they were promoting the Osole brand, which, according to its promoters, was a wonderful treat for the palate. As I understood, this brand is Venezuelan; they use beans grown in this country, so, alluded to by the promise that I wouldn't regret trying it, I let them give me a small cup of the prepared coffee with a cookie included.

The flavor was smooth: neither too strong nor too weak. It was like an in-between. Sometimes, and especially in Brazilian coffee brands, it is common for them to add a lot of sugar during roasting to give a more bitter sensation to the coffee powder. This was not the case with Osole, that is, I did not perceive that they abused this. I liked it because it was at the right point, plus it had a slight touch of vanilla.

Osole Coffee

One thing I noticed about this particular brand is that the bean comes from the Arabica plant; let's say it's a highly praised coffee bean, as well as having a high-quality flavor. I loved this. The promoters told me that this coffee is perfect for specialty drinks, i.e. those combined with flavors like chocolate. I knew that its flavor was mild because the bean is roasted medium; I like a higher roast, but they convinced me and I bought it. It was the first time that someone told me in a very complete way about the type of coffee they offer; sometimes, promoters remain silent when questions about the product are very demanding.

I was pleased with the coffee they gave me to taste. I would have added less sugar, but for a standard sample, it was fine. The important thing is that the flavor could be perceived on my palate, and well, it is this one who has the last word before buying coffee powder... sometimes the decision is difficult with brands that I didn't know before.

My morning coffee

I made myself a cup of coffee the next day, very early in the morning. This time, I prepared it the way I like it: concentrated and without so much sugar. The taste was light again, which is great to start the morning with. Obviously, I drank it very hot. Finding quality coffee is sometimes difficult in this country, but among so many options, you usually find pleasant surprises. I fell in love with this Arabica quality coffee. I have not left aside the ones I usually drink, but finding new products helps, in some way, to enliven the taste and that caffeinated fervor that usually keeps you inspired.

I will say that it looks nice. Not all the cafes are very good, it's a constant search for a nice one. I didn't know this one, maybe I'll see it soon on a shelf here in Lara.

I hope you can try it, I'm sure you will like it.

Here in Sucre there is a lot of this osole brand coffee. I was curious when I saw it. I read its characteristics and aroma and took it home to try it, since I am exquisite. Hahaha. And I really liked it a lot. Greetings and enjoy your delicious coffee
