Coffee and art to break the routine | The Coffee Shop Prompt Week 146 [EN-ES]

Café Bialetti 1933 is a café located in the inner courtyard of the Provincial Art Gallery, with a unique way of serving coffee.

One might think that its regular clientele consists mostly of intellectuals or art lovers, but that's not the case. Paradoxically, what we find most often are teenagers and young adults who love social media, frequently posting photos of themselves there at various times, and who frequent other, decidedly non-artistic, circles.

Located in the city center, I sometimes come here for coffee after enjoying the monthly art exhibition at the gallery. Today was one of those days. I also thought I'd sit down for a while to read a book I borrowed, perhaps with my coffee and some chocolate cookies.

The service here, and the ambiance, are much appreciated, despite the high prices of the specials.

I usually prefer to write a poem while drinking coffee, but lately I haven't been able to get the words to express what I feel, so I stop, breathe, and focus on the air caressing my face...

So, I paused, staring at the blank page, and used the book in front of me to try and write a review, which I would then share with you on my blog.

The coffee I ordered arrived—a strong espresso—and I smiled and settled down to begin the review.

After a while, I remembered the invitation that @cinnccf made to us this week and I set about carefully observing my surroundings.

I pour myself another cup of coffee (notice how the coffee is served in the small Bialetti-style coffee maker itself, so that one can drink it to taste and calmly) and I perceive the same old routine in those around me: photos shared with partners and friends for social networks.

I finish my coffee, take another look at the gallery's art exhibit, and think about what I might need right now to break the routine that's been keeping me going these gray days...

I don't know, maybe I need to sit by the sea or under a waterfall in the mountains, who knows... Just imagining it, I can smell the coffee mixed with the scent of the sea or the trees.

I smile again and say goodbye for now, but not before sending you all a hug of light!

This is my participation in the contest that @cinnccf proposes to us through the #CinnamonCupCoffee community.

Thank you very much for your visit!

What a calming and beautifully written piece! 😊 I love how you described the mix of coffee, art, and quiet reflection. Sometimes a simple café visit really helps us breathe and reconnect with ourselves. And yes coffee by the sea or in the mountains sounds absolutely perfect..
