Let's Talk Coffee This Lovely Sunday

in Cinnamon Cup Coffee3 years ago

Does any of you like to drink coffee without milk or drink coffee on an empty stomach? I do! But, then you need to think again. I do it mostly when I go out for my workout or for biking on a beautiful morning.

I was reading a forum where experts discussed how people who drink black coffee are prone to becoming psychopaths. I have been drinking black coffee for a long time, but I didn’t feel that way. I like coffee, but I am not saying that all of us like it. However, some need less sugar, some with less milk, and some need normal sugar.

So, do I need to reconsider my black coffee consumption and avoid socializing with other black coffee drinkers? Hey, you must be joking. And I have just ordered a drip coffee maker from Amazon. I hear if you have this drip coffee maker it makes your life easy. Let me see how it works for me.

Hello @rayt2,
I've never heard the argument about black coffee drinkers becoming psychopaths, but then again, it's not something I'd have made take up any space in my mind.
There'll always be arguments for and against some food consumption and the way we do so, that constantly changing.
I believe moderation and applying some common sense are key.
Yes, I've heard to coffee before a workout might not be good. Personally, I like to do my qi gong and yoga on an empty stomach, mainly because of the inverted positions. However, if I was lifting heavy weights was a part of my fitness schedule, then my common sense would automatically lead me to eat a meal preferably one high in protein, before engaging in lifting. That's simply because the body is like an engine to me, and I would never drive my car on empty oil.
Have a nice Sunday:)

I think that's a good approach, and yes, you need to have an antenna to pick up "self-appointed experts."😆
Thank you:)
