We have a good tradition with my friend Zhanna. We both work hard during weekdays and are waiting for weekends to spend them for ourselves. Not every Saturday or Sunday we have this chance, but when we do, we have lunch or dinner together. We usually cook something at our homes and eat the dishes together - share what we cooked. It is much better than cook only for yourself and eat alone.

Most of the times we have lunch or dinner at my flat, but last Sunday, my friend Zhanna hosted the dinner.

I cooked my part of the dinner at home to take with me.

It was a nice sunny day, and it was a pleasure for me to take a walk to Zhanna's place. It was nice!

I love the funny toy frog comfortably settled on the chair. Zhanna got it from her son-in-law and likes it a lot. It is also her grandchildren's toy when they visit her.

Zhanna cooked pasta with different homemade sauces, made a tuna salad and bought some cakes for coffee. I must not forget tasty and healthy bread with whole seeds!

My contribution was fish soup and minced meat cutlets from the picture above.

We both have been very busy during weekdays and had guests at previous weekends. That Sunday we were happy to have time for each other.

We had a tasty meal with a glass of good wine and enjoyed a nice talk about many interesting things.

A cup of strong coffee with a piece of apple cake was a great final for the dinner that day. To feel good in a company of your soul friend - what can be better?!
