I didn't take any pictures even though I went for a bike ride. I can say that for the first time in my life I enjoyed a bike ride on a winter day, the second coldest we have ever had in Havana, and I didn't take any pictures. But someone took pictures of me when I passed by her house... who could it be? 🤐😁
As I don't have this resource (pictures) for this post, I have to improvise.
I photographed this place the day before yesterday but it looked exactly the same... yesterday. 😄
Some things don't change too much. I'm sure this scenario was almost the same as well, but with different people. It is about the long line to enter the bank. I mentioned it in my previous post.
Yesterday I went through those places but faster, by bike. Some things change, indeed, and of course, I cycled much further.

My mind instead pulls me towards those that do not. But there are some things that cannot be forced, especially because, although it may not seem so, everything changes in its details and forms. That is what life is: constant change.
😏 I've already started to complicate this, I know. Hold on.
😃 | 😊 | 😉 |
The way I prepare my morning coffee, for example... 😜 does not vary much. It is almost always the same.
...
But even so, there are small details that do change. 🤔
I have today three types of coffee at home. This is a novelty. Nop... it's not a small detail that changed... I would say that this 2025 is noticeably abundant in terms of coffee issues.
Let's take a look at this Italian coffee I bought in our neighbourhood shop for 1600 CUP (4.77 USD).
I think my mind is being defeated because there are major changes here!
Another gift from Amanda Flores 😅
A Cuban coffee from Pinar del Rio that I got from a friend that day after the super long line at the bank. What a joy! 😄 We met there at that mission and then she and her husband came to my house and here we shared some time, catching up, you know, having a good time with lots of laughter.
Hola coffee, dark roast. Ground.
And this is the third packet of coffee I have yet to mention. Let's not talk about its quality... Sometimes, when we don't have any, even this one tastes good. It is the coffee that Cubans receive as part of the basic family basket and it is relatively cheap.
I'm not sure where I will publish this post. But the scales are swinging towards coffee, aren't they? 😆 OMG, I have to redo it all... I just wanted to tell a bit about my day yesterday and I'm already talking about coffee. But you can't deny that coffee is good fuel for lazy people and cyclists.
Now I'm making you a bit more dizzy (look over here). 🤣
I mean, getting you dizzy, yes, of course, from the beginning; but not taking pictures all day, that wasn't part of the plan. I had my camera in my backpack because I was going to spend some time in a nice garden. How could I not take pictures of flowers and butterflies? Well, I was told that there were no more butterflies where there are supposed to be many. Someone told me that maybe I would see some fluttering around outside... I don't know... I didn't believe this idea, because I haven't seen butterflies in my backyard in these cold days. Ok, I was fine with that, I would then see the water lilies in bloom and many more pretty plants. I would breathe fresh air and beauty. I would be alone with me and my bike... or so I thought, because when I arrived at the garden and went to pay the entrance fee, I was told that I could not enter the garden with my bike.
🤦♀
Why couldn't I go to the garden with my bike, who would have thought of that? That's why sometimes I get tired of everything here in this f... country. So many absurd obstacles to make people feel bad.... It's a garden, for God's sake!
The guy at the gate told me to park it out there. But that man is crazy or what!
And sometimes I tell you that I'm nicer and I talk and I convince... but this took away my desire to take photos.
When things are so absurd, I just turn my back and leave.
...
Life is not so bad after all. I have coffee, bike, energy, friends and also you accompanied me so far, albeit dizzy, and perhaps wondering what I meant by all this.

It's a good thing you have a bike to ride to get rid of all that coffee energy :^)
Those brands look fun though! I love getting different ones and experimenting. Always fun stumbling into something that surprises enough for you to run out and buy more once it's done
🤣 You got me! Hahaha...
Italian coffee is excellent, the one my friend gave me as a gift, even more so. And the other one... it's not good but it will be available for when there isn't any. It's for an emergency.

This is a lot of comments. 😃 Of course, it's because I make them under the influence of coffee.
Yes I am dizzy, I did not take pictures, but I think it is the same dizziness as yesterday. I don't know what I mean by this either, maybe just that whoever makes friends while standing in line at a bank, is capable of anything.
A hug @nanixxx.
Hey, they weren't strangers I brought home. They were mdrguez and eddyss, my friends. Don't you see what the package says? It says Amandita. Who tells me Amanda in Hive? Well, you don't have to know as adaluna1973 here... lol.
Are you dizzy? Really? Geez! 🙂
A big, big hug.
You guessed it, I just got into Hive, and I was planning not to. A good afternoon and a not so good evening, tired and I think flu-like.
Vamos, levanta ese ánimo. Té de jengibre, limón, miel. Un baño calentito, una mantita. Un libro... deseo que estés bien.
Gracias por esta foto hermosa. 🤗
Dormir es lo que me pide el cuerpo... 😴 voy a dar una vuelta por acá y a dormir... (gengibre, limón y miel tengo)
GRACIAS!!! 😀
a ti 👋 descansa.
👋
You have a good coffee pantry, and I love it cut, it didn't make me dizzy, but I was jealous of being able to have one, but I can't, my stomach collapsed....😶
I love your casual, fun, and free style to write...that's why I love watching you to see what you write....😂😂😂
👀👁️👀👁️👀👁️👀👁️👀👁️
No, you can't drink coffee like that. Oh, lo siento, amiga.
I just wanted to complain or the effect of today's coffee... that I have not been able to spend the extra energy. 🤣
Ya.....😂
Te tengo en mi plan de estudio querida...eres muy inteligente....😂🌹
Coffee always makes our mornings colorful and vibrant:)
Yes! A morning without coffee is like a morning without sunshine hahaha....
I was wondering how cold is cold for you in Cuba 🇨🇺 🤔
It's winter here as well and this week we got -7°C one morning, but still no snow so far.
On a different note, staying in line for entering the bank? You don't see that here for sure. Shocking to be honest. Here you need an appointment which is done online but even so, with most of the banking done online, no need to go to the bank.
Have a nice weekend my friend 😊
😄 I think the temperature here was between 8 and 10 degrees, although I don't have a way to measure it. I'll look on a weather site to see how much the temperature has dropped these days.
I know that for you this is perfect to go to the beach hahaha ...
There are a lot of shocking things here, but as long as I stay here I have to cope with them. The bike therapy is going well 😅🚲.
Have a nice weekend you too, Erikah, friend, and take care of your eyes.
I didn't realise that Cuba got cold! I have learnt something from reading your posts, I have also learnt that you are addicted to coffee!! me? I might drink 2 cups of coffee a year ( only because there maybe no black tea available).
I hope you have a chain and padlock with you when you are out, lock that bike securely .
No, I dare not even leave it tied up. Here thieves are ninjas.
I am not addicted to coffee. I only drink four cups a day. Hahaha...
Our winter lasts a few days. But we are so used to the high temperatures that every time there is the slightest wind, we take out our coats.
You say little, I don't think so, you say a lot and very clear, but not like Hola café, which is very clear. When you have Coffee and Bike you don't need much more. You should have gone with one of your friends to look after your bike and look after you too.Have a good Saturday and I'm convinced you'll be back in the park soon. 🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Dizzy, it is complicated 🤣
In the past days, I felt dizzy. So I just need sleep more and every thing okay now :p
This is life, you will be boring now if you are not master :p
Small change is imporart, like a small step. No problem. At least you have words to tell to us
I may get dizzy, but to be speechless... that's difficult, my friend @anggreklestari. You are the ones who get dizzy from my writing that you know where it starts but not how or where it ends 🤣.
Seriously, sometimes we need to take it easy and get through a bit of everything. We need to rest in order to be active and energetic. I hope you are feeling better now. 🤗
That long line is hilarious. It's the same scene here in our place, lol. It's been a while since you bought your bike. You seem to be loving the adventure on it.
No kidding! That's horrible. 😕
Yes, it's my means of transport because I can't stand public transport, which is not only expensive, but people on top of you, spitting all kinds of germs on you hahaha,.... ooops, I sounded like Sheldon Cooper.
And I also love cycling.
Greetings, @jane1289.
How sad that you couldn't enjoy your garden with your bike, but you did enjoy that good Cuban coffee. I have always been told that Cuban coffee is very good. I loved your post. I laughed a lot. Hugs
😂 Hahaha... welcome to my blog, @milik80. Cuban coffee is very good, yes. I prefer Serrano, Caracolillo and Turquino. However, I like to try different coffees... but I'll be honest... most of the time we have to buy what's available, and we can't choose. On the day I bought this coffee there was another brand of coffee that I have never tasted, but I decided to go for Italy.
Sono una ragazza mezza matta che ama il caffè di tutto il mondo. 🤣

Hey Nanixxx,
Happy New Year! 🎉 I had good intentions to send you a personal message but boat life has been a little stressful and I wasn't well for a few days... so please accept my delayed wishes 😄😍
It doesn't take much for me to be dizzy, you know?
My gosh! I see you have the same problem of long queues for banks in Cuba, as we do in Jamaica!!!
I find it annoying when I can't take my bike to the places I want since it's not safe to leave it unattended (even locked), so I understand your frustration.
At least you have coffee to save the day, right?
I accept your good wishes and please accept mine as well. I was supposed to do it myself, to send you the message, but I get dizzy from saying congratulations so many times... since Christmas! It's a lot! Hahahaha...
I'm fed up with not being able to take my bike to the places I go to. It's a garden, I don't understand it.
The long queues here are like a pandemic. 😏
Hey, I hope you're well and have enough coffee too. 😄 A hug, @millycf1976.
Yes, I'm feeling much better now and getting my energy back... and having my coffee too. Thank you!🤗
I know what you mean about the well-wishing being tiresome.😁
😂
But you know that I wish you from the bottom of my heart all the best in life and that you finally manage to disassemble the wheel of the bike and put the patch on it hahaha... finally how is that going? Write to me when you get a chance.
So many brands of coffee.... I was never much of a coffee drinker, here there are many brands and I don't have much idea but I love the delicious smell of coffee!!!!
Yes, the smell of coffee is great. Just the thought of it gets me out from under the blankets, even if it's freezing cold.
;)
I love to pass by a coffee shop and be there but I don't have much of a coffee culture, at home my grandmother used to drink it, it reminds me of her... nostalgia...
Ay Amanda Bike, esos absurdos...!!! Pero no importa!!! Disfruta tu café, tus paseos en bici, tus amigos y toda esa buena energía 🤗.
¡Amandita Flores! 😂
Quieres que te tire las cartas??? 🤪😆
Pero bueno....españolas???? Tas acabando Amandita!!🤣
😂
