For me there is no better plan at any time of the day than to have a delicious coffee, but these days the heat has been unbearable and although I am one of those who thinks the weather is not an impediment to a good cup of coffee, but yesterday I wanted a refreshing drink, so to “kill two birds with one stone” we decided to go to Altico Café which is located in Barrio Obrero, the place is beautiful and cozy, it is always cool even if the weather outside is unbearable, it has large windows that connect you with the outside but not to the point of feeling the hustle and bustle that usually exists on the street, this is what I love about these coffee shops, since before I liked to have coffee in the bakeries in the city, but it is a not very pleasant environment to a certain extent.
Now talking a little about the coffee we chose on this occasion, it is perfect for any occasion and more so for my boyfriend and I, who always have it with a dessert whenever we can, before we would make the mistake of eating a Frapuccino which is a bomb of sweetness along with a slice of cake that also ends up being a bomb of sweetness,
The Simple Ice Coffee is a Cold Latte, it has nothing more or less, that is, a shot of espresso, milk, and ice cubes, the espresso was served in a foamy way so that when you bring it to the table it has this mixture of colors, but to consume it you have to stir both parts well, it really made my mouth water just remembering how delicious it was. Are you team cold or team hot? Or like me that everything depends on the occasion 🤎☕️
Para mí no hay un mejor plan a cualquier hora del día, que tomar un delicioso café, pero estos días el calor ha estado insoportable y aunque yo soy de esas que el clima no es un impedimento para una buena taza de café, pero ayer si quería una bebida refrescante, así que para “matar dos pájaros de un tiro” decidimos ir a Altico Café el cual está ubicado en Barrio Obrero, el local es precioso y acogedor, siempre está fresco así el clima afuera está insoportable, tiene grandes ventanales que te conectan con el exterior pero no al punto de sentir el ajetreo que suele existir en la calle, esto es lo que me encanta de estas cafeterías, ya que antes me gustaba tomar café en las panaderías de la ciudad, pero es un ambiente no muy agradable hasta cierto punto.
Ya hablando un poco del Café que escogimos en esta ocasión, es el perfecto para cualquier ocasión y más para mi novio y para mi, que siempre que podemos lo acompañamos con un postre, antes comeríamos el error de comernos un Frapuccino que es una bomba de dulce junto con una porción de torta que también termina siendo una bomba de dulce,
El Ice Coffe Simple, es un Latte Frío, no lleva ni más ni menos, es decir, un shot de espresso, leche, y hielo en cubos, el espresso lo sirvieron de manera espumosa para que al llevarlo a la mesa tenga esta mezcla de colores, pero ya para consumirlo sirvieron debes revolver bien ambas partes, realmente se me hizo agua la boca nada más de recordar lo delicioso que estaba. Ustedes son team frío o team calor? O como yo que todo depende de la ocasión 🤎☕️
