RE: Perfecting Plunger Coffee

Haha, we need some of that white stuff on this side of the world @farm-mom, I can just imagine how you felt driving into the cold!
I'm fascinated with how you tap the maple syrup, saw @thebigsweed's post when I was half asleep, must head on over there and see if he explains how it's done?
Back to the grindstone now but I'm sure it's one you love!

Hey there @lizelle, we were just talking this morning about how our Spring is your fall. My hubby, the constant teacher explained to me all about the earth's rotation, longitude and latitude, the equator and the prime meridian.
I love when he spouts off with all his knowledge. I never interrupt him when he gets going, even though most of what he's saying I already know. hehe.

Maple syrup making is so much fun. It takes 50 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of syrup, so collecting from the maple trees after tapping gets us outside and walking through the forest, it's nice.
Then the "cooking" gets done outside on a big wood burning contraption the sweed made specifically for the job. It's always a relaxing day together, sometimes the adult beverages come out too!
