A New Coffee Corner

This week my friend invited me to a cafe, located in the center of the city, Once on the way to the cafe, she gave me two options to choose from: in one place they offered coffee, chocolate and other natural drinks, accompanied with cookies and other sweets; in the other café they offered coffee also drinks and different pastries, I opted for the first café, since my weakness is to have a rich coffee with accompanied with pastries, and when I saw the place I loved it, you can tell they are just starting, but from the beginning they offer us a unique atmosphere in the middle of a small oasis, when I arrived at the place I felt pleased, since the space in the middle of its nature, makes us feel that we are sharing a coffee in the garden of our house.

When I arrived, my friend introduced me to the young man and told him she was bringing me to see the place. When he started to take my order, I asked for a coffee with milk. Immediately, he offered me a chocolate. I, a little disappointed because, I wanted to document my coffee experience, did not want to be rude and accepted the chocolate, so that my friend who was inviting me would not feel uncomfortable and I gladly accepted the chocolate. In the meantime, we could go ahead and find a place to sit while he completed his service.

My friend (Mayra) and I have known each other for many years, she worked in the health sector and so did I, but in another agency, one day there was a public health day for the entire population and that's when we met, since then we maintained a good friendship and consolidated it over the years, although we worked far apart. We maintained communication through messages and phone calls and when we met occasionally. This new year we decided to meet again.

And this place seemed to me the right one, in the middle of nature, with large bushes, and a colonial style decoration. Its large windows and wrought iron tables take us back to the past and in its center a fountain that does not work, but will surely bring more freshness and life to the place. The young man brought us our order and left us excited. The presentation was beautiful, he told me that he prepared me a chocolate with coffee as a courtesy. My friend was very hot and had a very tasty hibiscus flower frapee.

While we were tasting, I was delighted with my choco coffee, because it was creamy, hot and its indescribable flavor, a perfect and well balanced combination of both ingredients and the place was certainly very nice and very fresh, to share, in a group or a business meeting, located in the center of Caracas.

Having coffee with our friends is a way of building a bridge to maintain the ties that keep us apart due to the different obligations we have on a daily basis.
