A coffee while waiting... [Eng - Esp]

Hi dear coffee friends! I have been absent for a while, but it is really nice to be here again. December it's been a pretty active month full of experiences and joy, but with some little troubles that may become in opportunities if we learn to wait.

Let me explain my point:

Last Sunday I was in the bus station to come back home after a week sharing with colleagues and meeting new friends. As usual, I was early there, because I had to check my travel ticket. My father left me there and I had no other thing to do except wait until 11:00 am to leave.

Ten minutes had passed and nobody knew what was happening with the bus that was really late. I started to ask to the closest people I had, but they would travel to different places. I called my mother to let her know what was happening and called my father too.

What to do? Keep waiting...

To make a long story short; I asked a woman if she could take a look to my sit while I walk around the bus station to avoid stress me out, and what did I find? A coffee shop 😃!
First off all I asked if I could pay by credit card. Luckily they said yes, so I ordered a "Café Bombón" a three color beverage that tastes like a dream. It is prepared with condensed milk, and that gives to the coffee a sweet and special flavor.

At this point I had mixed my coffee, I remembered to take a photo to late. The place is so comfortable and thematically decorated. Coffee is not the only thing they sell, they also have hair products for almost all textures, cookies, hygiene products and so much more.

Messages in the walls are there to remember to you how good is life with a good coffee.

My selfie enjoying the coffee could not miss, it is like a reminder of all the good coffees that I have tried along the way and my mood when drinking, the clothes I was wearing and my hairstyle. A reminder that describes me at that specific moment.

I have to confess that it was a little hard for me to choose, because I love all coffees and all flavors, cold or hot, but I realized that I had only a few minutes to be happy. I could not be there for a long time because I can not miss my bus and it may arrived anytime.

Summing up, if you are in troubles or in a difficult situation, or if you have to wait:
GO FOR A COFFEE! You won't regret about it. It is like dopamine that cheers you up if you are desperate and going crazy.

By the way, it would be better if I had tried that amazing coffee with a piece of chocolate cake (I am really into that combination). That is the best mix that have been invented in the history.

But I feel happy, because I discovered a new place in Havana to enjoy a coffee and why not?, share with friends.

At the end, my bus arrived at 13 hours and left Havana at 14 hours. Three hours later! Things that happen when the electric power does not favor things and their normal routine.

¡Hola queridos amigos del café! He estado ausente por un tiempo, pero es realmente agradable estar aquí de nuevo. Diciembre ha sido un mes bastante activo, lleno de experiencias y alegrías, pero también con algunos pequeños problemas que pueden convertirse en oportunidades si aprendemos a esperar.

Permítanme explicar mi punto:

El domingo pasado estaba en la estación de buses para regresar a casa después de una semana compartiendo con colegas y conociendo nuevos amigos. Como de costumbre, llegué temprano, porque tenía que verificar mi boleto de viaje. Mi papá me dejó allí y no tenía nada más que hacer excepto esperar hasta las 11:00 a.m. para partir.

Pasaron diez minutos y nadie sabía qué estaba pasando con el autobús, que estaba realmente tarde. Empecé a preguntar a las personas más cercanas que tenía, pero ellos viajaban a lugares diferentes. Llamé a mi mamá para informarle lo que ocurría y también llamé a mi papá.

¿Qué hacer? Seguir esperando…

Para resumir una larga historia; le pedí a una mujer si podía cuidar mi asiento mientras caminaba por la estación de buses para no estresarme, y ¿qué encontré? ¡Una cafetería! 😃

Primero que todo, pregunté si podía pagar con tarjeta de crédito. Afortunadamente, dijeron que sí, así que pedí un “Café Bombón”, una bebida de tres colores que sabe a sueño. Se prepara con leche condensada, y eso le da al café un sabor dulce y especial.

En este punto, ya había mezclado mi café, y recordé tomar una foto demasiado tarde. El lugar es muy cómodo y decorado con una temática. El café no es lo único que venden, también tienen productos para el cabello para casi todas las texturas, galletas, productos de higiene y mucho más.

Los mensajes en las paredes están allí para recordarte lo buena que es la vida con un buen café.

Mi selfie disfrutando del café no podía faltar. Es como un recordatorio de todos los buenos cafés que he probado en el camino, mi estado de ánimo al beberlo, la ropa que llevaba puesta y mi peinado. Un recordatorio que me describe en ese momento específico.

Tengo que confesar que me costó un poco elegir, porque amo todos los cafés y todos los sabores, fríos o calientes, pero me di cuenta de que solo tenía unos minutos para ser feliz. No podía quedarme allí mucho tiempo porque no podía perder mi autobús, y este podía llegar en cualquier momento.

En resumen, si estás en problemas o en una situación difícil, o si tienes que esperar:

¡VE POR UN CAFÉ! No te arrepentirás. Es como la dopamina que te anima si estás desesperado y volviéndote loco.

Por cierto, hubiera sido mejor si hubiera probado ese café increíble con un trozo de tarta de chocolate (realmente me encanta esa combinación). Esa es la mejor mezcla que se ha inventado en la historia.

Pero me siento feliz, porque descubrí un nuevo lugar en La Habana para disfrutar de un café y, ¿por qué no?, compartir con amigos.

Al final, mi autobús llegó a las 13 horas y salió de La Habana a las 14 horas. ¡Tres horas después! Cosas que pasan cuando la energía eléctrica no favorece las cosas y su rutina normal.
