Belief and Coffee

I have two strangest coffee experiences but I was not the one who drank it. I only saw how it was picked, roasted, and brewed.

1. Goat poop coffee

I bet you heard about the expensive coffee from civet cat poop but have you heard of goat poop coffee?

This is the story of how I experienced it.

When I was around 7-8 years old, my brother got sick. His fever was on and off. My parents did everything they could, bought all the prescribed medicines and all. Still, it did nothing to help my brother get better.

They asked everyone from their families to friends what’s best to do about the intermittent fever.

One time, while buying medicine, they bumped into a friend and had chitchat. They opened the condition about my brother’s on and off fever. Then their friend told them that the best medicine that was proven and tested during her time was “GOAT POOP”. She said goats only eat herbs so their poop is natural medicine.

My parents, worried and desperate to make my brother get well, tried.They picked some fresh goat poops. They dried those pearls (Kidding). They dried the poop under the sun. When the poop became completely dry, they roasted them and then brewed them.

Of course, they kept it from my brother but to us bullies, in the house, we watched how it was processed and giggled when my brother drank it.

Well, my brother has healed after a few days. Hahaha!

It was gross.

I think we spilled the secret when we are already teenagers.

For the second experience, I think it's better to hide their identity for privacy so I would just use S and W.

This method was done without harming the animal.

2. Cat Placenta Coffee

Friends of S believes that the cat placenta can help pregnant women to have easy labor. According to them, cats give birth so easily because of something that creates a miracle of birth. S believed her friends about this and tried.

(They said cats, after labor, eat their placenta, so you have to get the placenta before they eat it.)

S asked W who is close to pets to try to get the placenta of their cat after she gave birth to her kittens. W got the placenta. S dried and then roasted it. She is keeping it to brew secretly for her daughters in the future.

I also read about celebrity mothers who drank smoothies with their placenta. They believed that the placenta nourished their baby during pregnancy so it is packed with nutrients.
