Hi coffelovers,
What coffee did you enjoy today? Or what kind of coffee makes you the most excited after drinking it?
I'm a Latte lover. Almost in all
the coffee shop that I stop by, I always order the latte menu. I don't like single origin because it's too bitter, and I don't like cold brew either.
Maybe most of us are not surprised anymore about the coffee shop business that has mushroomed in various places, from small ones on the side of the road, in malls, to large cafes that don't want to be left behind.
The new thing that is equally popular among teenagers is coffee shops at high altitudes. This brilliant idea from coffee entrepreneurs was very enthusiastically welcomed by coffee lovers. Serving a cup of coffee, a companion snack, a shady pine forest, and the mist that sometimes descends is perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee with a soothing view. Now the culture and lifestyle of relaxing at the coffee shop has been attached to almost everyone, from the young to the old who almost love spending time at the coffee shop.
As a precaution for visitors who don't really like coffee, the coffee shop entrepreneurs also provide a variety of non-coffee drinks.
Around Pekalonga-Batang, there are already many coffee shops with the concept of 'relaxing in the middle of the forest' like this. As; Kapeo coffee on Jalan Klaijoyo, Kajen, Pekalongan, Tombo-Batang Coffee, Forest Kopi-Blado Batang, and many more.
One of the coffee places hits "Metsa Kopi" which is located at a high mountain, precisely on the Bandar-Dieng road, Kembanglangit village, Batang Regency. This coffee shop offers an open concept with nature while enjoying the forest view. There are lots of tourist choices and coffee shops along the streets, almost all of them on weekends are always crowded with visitors. the place is comfortable, cool and also very instagramable.
Many menu choices are offered including various kinds of coffee, non-coffee, heavy meals and snacks.
I went here with my friend. I ordered the Caramello Ice Coffee, while my friend ordered the Banana Berry Ice Shake, Sambal Matah Chicken Rice, Blackpaper Chicken Rice and Nutella Croffle. For the taste, I think it's quite good and the price is still affordable, starting from 15k-30k.
Like the usual Sambal Matah, I like the fresh taste of the combination of raw cayenne pepper, red onion, garlic, chopped lemongrass, and a squeeze of lime juice. Delicious! and for the blackpaper chicken rice combined with crispy fried chicken slices and spicy blackpaper sauce which is suitable when eaten cold. Excellent!
And as a coffee lover, there's nothing wrong with tasting all of these coffee shops when you're on a weekend in the Batang area.
Thanks for reading. Have a nice day.

Hello @fatimatuzzahro, I've enjoyed looking at the misty mountains. It takes me back to my time spent in Alishan Mountains, Taiwan. Those were the first tea farms I'd been to:)
Great industrial shabby chic decor.
Welcome to the community, and see you around!
