The Coffee Shop Prompt: 1st Visited Mokka Caffe in Airport

Hello coffee lovers. This time I would like to share my story when I first arrived in Indonesia after 12 years in Taiwan. After traveling 5 hours from Taiwan to Jakarta, I arrived at Soekarno-Hatta Airport. However, to continue my journey in Lampung, I had to wait for a flight for 4 hours. So I had to wait for a flight in Jakarta. Because the hotel at the airport was full, I decided to wait at a coffee shop.

This was my first time ordering coffee at an Indonesian cafe. I ordered a cup of coffee latte and ordered solo fried noodles, to accompany me to work on my coursework that I haven't done yet. The atmosphere of the coffee was quite cozy to unwind after my journey from Taiwan to Indonesia. It was also at Caffe that I heard the sound of adhan for the first time in Indonesia. This was an extraordinary moment, where I had never heard the sound of adhan while in Taiwan.

The café is located on the second floor, in a row of other souvenir stands at the airport. Many visitors visited the café, and they were just like me waiting for my flight. They also enjoyed their coffee while taking in the airport's bustling atmosphere. Although the atmosphere of the café in Indonesia is not as luxurious as the café in Taiwan, it is very memorable. I'm waiting for my flight to Lampung, where I'll meet my family who I've been away from for a long time.

I enjoyed a cup of latte coffee, accompanied by a serving of solo fried noodles that were aesthetically presented using a wok plate, a typical cooking utensil in a housewife's kitchen. One cup of latte coffee at this café costs 45K, while the portion of fried Solo noodles with an egg costs 125K. At first when I found out the price I was very surprised, but because this is an airport so I understand if all the goods in the city are expensive.

Mokka café provides a cell phone charger, making it easier for me to work and communicate with my family back home. The furniture in the café is made of wood, which makes the atmosphere cooler because it is almost the same as the furniture of houses in Java. It's soothing to the eyes and makes the atmosphere cozy.

With its location around the airport, Mokka Caffe does not have a garden or a cool area filled with plants. There are only bonsai trees that have been formed around the café location so that it makes a comfortable atmosphere. I spent a few hours in this café while waiting for my flight to Lampung. Actually, I couldn't wait to meet my family who I had missed for a long time. However, due to the situation and the system, I had to remain patient while waiting for my flight.

So far, my experience for the first time again enjoying coffee at Mokka Cafe, Jakarta was quite memorable. For coffee and dishes provided are quite delicious, even though in the middle of the crowd Mokka Caffee provides a comfortable atmosphere to stop by waiting for the flight to where I came from.

That's it for the story about the cafe I visited. Thank you for your support and for reading my post. Greetings coffee lovers.
