Yesterday was the last day of the year, which was a great emotion for everyone and thus to be able to end a cycle and start another, also to repeat the same twelve months of the year and continue to grow. At home we were going to make a big dinner for everyone and as always there are some things to buy at the last minute and in this case was to buy a couple of cookies to share in the evening that had been ordered in a bakery, so we had to look for and have everything ready. I tell you that while I was waiting for the cookies to be packed, I decided to have a coffee and in that way reflect a little in the minutes that I was sitting there in front of my coffee.

I went through the cash register and ordered the cookies that I was going to buy for the house, but when I was there that smell of coffee was so strong that I could not resist and I asked for one to say that it was the last coffee of the year 2024, so with much joy, excitement I sat down to enjoy my coffee, Surely at home my mom was thinking why I was taking so long and it was just to get some cookies, but in my case to be able to be sitting there enjoying that cup of coffee was something magical and unique, because no matter how many coffees I have taken in the year, since each new cup of coffee is an experience, a different flavor and to enjoy it.

Each sip, I allow myself to reflect on all the good and bad things I managed to do this year, there were only a few people in the bakery at that time of the afternoon drinking coffee in the middle of the night trip, however, it was a very dark coffee, very ruco, as it was quite pure, a little foam that comes out at the time of serving and I sat there calmly moving the sugar that I put to enjoy that last coffee of the year.

I felt that that coffee had like powers, since as I was drinking it I was taking more energy, I think I am exaggerating a little, but I do not know why that coffee was so good, I could have taken many cups of that coffee. I reflected on everything I did and especially the amount of coffee shops I visited during the year and in the end they are memories that remain in the past, photos in the galleries of the phone, but the only thing that remains is that taste of coffee, which allows me to decide whether or not to return to the coffee shop and that is why this coffee I had was perfect.

The minutes passed very fast and I still keep getting messages from my mother asking where I was with the cookies, so I took the last sip of coffee that was left in the cup and that way I had finished my last coffee of the year 2024, closing with many successes and delighted for every coffee you enjoy, because without coffee one would not be the same, for the fact of being that energizing drink that the body needs.

I was only going for cookies and they finished a black coffee accompanied by a mini cookie that was given to me for the occasion, which I ate with much affection. I was very grateful, since I really needed that coffee and I just thanked the people who served me and wished them a happy new year. I took my container of cookies and when I got home my mother took a breath and was already calm, she ordered the cookies on the table, on a black tray and ready to eat. While I, I started to write this post, as I had a great emotion of having closed the year with a black coffee.
