Once upon a time there was an older woman named Teresa, who owned a small quincalla, or grocery store, in the center of town. Teresa worked day and night to keep her business going, but lately things had been tough. She had lost some of her regular customers and her store was full of unsold merchandise.
Teresa was in a bad mood all the time, things were going badly so she used to have an angry face when a new customer arrived, this one had a problem because he was preventing her from selling her products, however as things were not getting better for them she could not stop feeling frustrated, but on top of that they had surrounded her store with businesses that also sold similar products to hers, so poor Teresa was almost all day long in that business without selling a single thing.
Teresa was very stressed and did not know how to deal with the situation. She felt overwhelmed by the responsibility of keeping her business afloat, something that at the time seemed impossible. One morning, her son, Carlos, came to visit her from afar. He noticed how stressed Teresa was and decided to do something to help her, he didn't want to see his mom so sad, let alone grumpy.

Carlos decided that the first thing he should do was to bring Teresa a delicious coffee, as she had been so busy all those days Teresa had not even tasted a sip of coffee during all that time. But Carlos knew that coffee always put her in a good mood and he hoped that this would help her cope more easily. When Carlos arrived with the coffee, Teresa was very happy to see him. He hugged her and handed her the cup of hot coffee. She took a sip and immediately her face lit up. The coffee was delicious and had an aroma that flooded the store. She felt comforted and ready to face the day.
Carlos stayed in the store for a while, helping Teresa organize her inventory and think of ways to attract new customers. After a while, they noticed that the store was starting to fill up with people. They had been a little creative and had run a promotion that attracted customers to the store. Customers were buying products and Teresa was very happy. Carlos had been a great support for her that day and she was very grateful for his presence. Meanwhile, the delicious aroma of coffee wafted through the store, attracting more people and adding to the festive atmosphere.
At one point, a customer named Juan approached Teresa to buy some things. He was a regular customer of the store and always bought a cup of coffee from the coffee shop next door. Teresa, thinking that the coffee Carlos had brought was better, offered him a cup of coffee from her store. Juan accepted, not knowing that the coffee Teresa offered him was the same coffee that Carlos had brought. Juan took a sip of the coffee and his face lit up as well. It was the best coffee he had ever tasted in his life. He was so excited that he began to tell all his friends about the coffee from Teresa's store. Before long, the grocery store became a popular place to buy and drink coffee.

Teresa and Carlos realized that coffee had been the key to changing the mood and sales at the store. They decided that they should add more variety of coffee and began to look for new recipes and ways to prepare coffee. In a short time, the store became a popular place in the city to enjoy good coffee. Customers came from all over the city to taste the delicious coffee and buy the products offered by the store. Teresa's business improved significantly thanks to coffee.
Thank goodness that Carlos was able to save the day with some quick thinking, and fresh coffee! It sounds as if Teresa will have some rebranding to do. Thanks for sharing! 😁
Oh, that’s sweet! Delightfully happy and invigoratingly coffee-licious tale!
