Wow, that's an interesting question. I am jealous of my mug, it is unmistakable because it has my name on it; it was a gift from a friend. I love my mug and take great care of it. When my husband uses it, I tell him "use your mug" 🤣. Here I leave you a picture although many of you should already know what it is. Normally, visitors don't use my mug but it makes me uncomfortable to see the mug in other hands. (Traductor Deepl)
That's a lovely mug, my friend. Having your name on it should be enough explanation for your husband, haha.
😂🤣
You made me laugh because the same thing happens to me. The blue cup is his and mine is brown. He's learned that after a couple of good frowns from me, although he gets them mixed up again from time to time 😒
It's a lot of difference, just like in my case. My mug says Mother's Day and has the date printed on it from the gift, plus my name but my husband sometimes goes overboard 😂😂.
My grandmother used to have a name for people like our husbands, but I can't say it here 🤣
🤣🤣🤣
It is very important to protect
Our favorite mug 🤭🤭 I imagine no one dares to touch it. You look cute with your mug. An infinite hug
Uff, yes. That cup no one touches it and when they do I claim 🤣.
If I see my most valuable coffee cup in someone other’s hands, I will be concerned for sure! 😁 my cup only in my hands… even my wife doesn’t drink coffee from my coffee cup!
That's what I say, that it's mine alone; that's why I fight when it's in someone else's territory.😅😅
Well, there is no one who gets confused with your name engraved on it, very nice, I imagine it is a very special mug.
Yes, it is a very special mug. It was a Mother's Day gift from a friend I love like a sister. Thank you for your comment. 🌼🌹🌻💐🌷
Your mug is very cute, although I doubt that anyone would dare to use it, it would be a huge risk to break it. @antoniarhuiz
You have no idea how challenging my husband can be at times but thank goodness that is rare. 😉😅😅😅
"use your mug"
That's so right! 😆
Of course, my friend, this is how I protect the cup that was given to me with love. 🌷🌼🌻🌷💐
Well, it bears your name, Arelis! That's a flag on won ground. The invasion deserves firm diplomatic action! 😂
😅😅 When my husband grabs my cup and leaves it anywhere, a brawl is signed. 🤣🤣
I agree! It is grounds for breaking any peace treaty in territorial waters! 🤣🤣🤣
You have a beautiful cup. By reading what you write we understand how special this mug is for you, more than the object itself is the emotional value it carries.
I leave you a cup of coffee for this day.☕
Just reading your comment, I'm with my mug having a nice morning coffee. It's like you say, I have a special feeling because I appreciate the detail of my friend for Mother's Day, which by the way it says on the mug. 💐🌻🌺🌹🌹🌼
I think your mug is unmistakable, no one should use it, unless they have the same name as you, hehehe.
I'm also very jealous with my mug, I don't like anyone to use it, especially not the visitor!
Greetings 🙏
Greetings!!! Imagine, I have 9 years with that mug and I know because it has the date stamped on it. I have other mugs but none like that one. Thanks for your comment 💐🌻🌼🌺.
Excellent @antoniarhuiz, I love it. ha, ha, ha, ha,...that's right, let each coffee drinker use their cup.
Saludos 🌺🌷🌹💐🌺🌹
Excellent, I love it...that's how it's done!
A good coffee drinker defends his cup tooth and nail.
Greetings, @antoniarhuiz
Save me a cup with cinnamon please ☺️☕
Me guardan una taza con canela por favor ☺️☕
Jajaja 😂, ok
Hey @antoniarhuiz
Lol I know that feeling, you are torn between telling them to change the mug or keeping quiet because they are your visitors😂
Tell it to me, when they grab my jumbo mug, I only give fiery looks 😁. Since a cup that I loved was broken, everything has changed, I no longer share it🤭
Hello, friends coffeelovers!
I've shown my everyday mug around here before. It's so simple, I put other things around it to liven up the show! But I like it. It's perfect for me. No one uses my coffee mug. Everyone has their own. If ever I can't find it (which is not uncommon, as I drink coffee many times a day and dream of leaving it here and there) I say "Who stole my mug?". Immediately, my little family is mobilized in a search and rescue operation!
Here are some pictures of my mug. Simple, small and elegant!💅😌😁
My daughter's mug (she puts everything in it: her morning coffees, but also her noodle soups).🏃♀👉👈👨💻
And my husband's. It's a jam jar from seven years ago! And he hasn't wanted to change it for anything! 🤘🤐😆
But as is the rule in my house: "With my coffee don't mess!"
Happy coffee to all!
You leaving your cup forgotten somewhere... It doesn't sound like you...😏
I love Rubi's mug. It's got style 😂 Love it.
Celina's mug is cousin to my witchy mug 😋
And there are three styles of coffee... Me, very strong, with a pinch of sugar; RJ without sugar; Celina, clear, with sugar (and cookie, cream, etc.).
But I never forget my coffee, I just don't know where I put my cup, witch cup! 😝😜
Two styles of coffee over here: plant based macchiato for Omar and black for me. One thing our coffees have in common: no sugar. But I do add sugar when I have a latte. An old die hard habit.
😂🤣
Hahaha... I know your coffees are delicious. The goblins steal cups too!
In my family we are fond of jam jars for quite some time now. We started to use them when my wife accidentally broke the coffee jug… well, we didn’t start to use them like coffee cups yet, but it is interesting and one day when there are no coffee cups left we may put the jars in use! 😁
That's right my friend... Nothing like standing up for our favorite mug and drink. It can be the simplest mug to be our favorite. Cheers to that!
Cheers! By the way, that mug is very nice
What beautiful photos, it looks like something from a magazine, the one with the details in red...
My cup is never lost; first I lose my keys... ha, ha, ha, ha.
Nice to meet you here, @adncabrera
Nice to see you here too, dear @sandracabrera. It's like having a cup of coffee. I'm glad there are sensible people who know how to take care of their cup! I can keep hope in humanity!
Without a doubt... that's right, @adncabrera adncabrera.💯😊👍
I love your daughter's mug, especially the sublimation!! :)
Hahaha... It's magic, literally! Effective? If there is coffee, Yes!
🤣🤣🤣🤣 I enjoyed your taziferous tale. She looks very pretty your mug but your husband's is, not even to be touched 😂😂😂😂.
Hehehehe such an interesting family😂😂 a rescue operation indeed!! Don't tell me they go with flashlights to look for your cup too😂😂
They go wherever they are needed, by air, sea or land! And failure is not an option!!!! 😆🤣😁
Hahahahha I love your family already!!😂
I had seen strange cups, but a jar of jam already won them all.🤭
Apparently your husband doesn't suffer because they can take away his cup.
I leave you a cup of coffee for this day.☕
On the contrary, it has seven years with the jar. He simply does not want to change it. He is attached to it! I've seen him break cups and glasses over the years, but the jar has never had an accident, and even withstood a move where I lost two very nice ornamental bottles.
WoW! An underwater mug! Wonderful
I liked that slogan 😅 very useful for marking territory.☕🤗👏🏼👏🏼
😁😁😁 Public service!😆
I like the mottos; Don't mess with my coffee cup, nosy🤭😜, I should put that slogan on my jumbo mug😅
Forward is that way!👉
Hello coffee loving friends, I hope you have a great weekend.
Of course I have a favorite coffee cup! It's a very special one because it was the mug my mom used to use, and it reminds me of her. It's a mug that is a few years old, and you can see the passing of time, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. When someone comes to visit my house I never serve them coffee in it, so it's not likely that anyone else will use it. In my house my husband and I like coffee and we each have our own cup. But supposing that a guest would one day want it, the answer would be No, a polite No, but No. I think he would understand.
I imagine that everyone in this group has his or her favorite and particular cup of coffee ♥️
OMG! I haven't seen a cup like that in a long time. My grandma's next door neighbor had one of those--or really similar--, but it had olive green engravings. They were thick and a little heavy; I was seven perhaps, when they served me coffee in that cup, and I felt that I was no longer considered a little girl because they gave me a cup that wasn't plastic, hehe. Nice memories.
Your mom's cup is a beautiful cup, now yours. And your little girl might inherit it ❤️
Thank you. It is also a very heavy mug, it is not light at all, it has a strong material, I imagine that's why it has lasted so long. I hope to be able to give it to my daughter someday 🤗♥️☕
We already had coffee with milk on a daily basis since we were 6 or 7. How old were you when you started drinking coffee? I'm curious 🤭
Well, I don't remember the exact age, but Cuban children drink coffee with milk at breakfast, it's normal, so I remember that as a child I drank it quite a lot. And my grandmother when they brewed coffee in the afternoons would sometimes give me a sip because I asked her for it. But I owe you the exact age hehe, although I guess it would be about eight years old.
Similar stories in Venezuela. It was never an issue in my house or at my grandparents' 😁
Cubans love coffee as much as you do.
Well, what I didn't clarify very well is that when I was little it was usual to have coffee with milk for breakfast. Now with the economic crisis it is more complicated to get both, but it is still customary.
A nice cup you show us. I see why you don't lend your cup to anyone, there are special cups that become part of us.
I leave you a cup of coffee for this day.☕
Thank you very much.
Maybe I'll pass my mug on to my daughter someday 🤗.
I think in that special cup the coffee ☕ tastes better! hehehe.
I too believe that every good coffee drinker has his favorite cup 😊.
Happy night 🙏
Yes, it has become clear that we all have our favorite cup 😄
Coffee tastes delicious in my cup 🤗
It's an heirloom with high sentimental value, I wouldn't lend that mug out either, nor would I let it cry 😅
Good that you think like me jeje 😄
A mug that is a beloved keepsake.it is fine with me that it is for your exclusive use. It is a beautiful and very private way to honor your mother's memory.
Thank you very much 🤗♥️
Likewise it would be, a resounding no, no is no, that is respected 😅, what is mine is mine and what is yours is yours, it is not shared and that's it😁, we are suspicious of our cups 🥰
Jaja you made it very clear 😂.
💜☕ I'm glad you have this special mug and that you enjoy coffee in it. It is your treasure!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful mug with us. An infinite hug 😘💜

I sent 1.0 HUG on behalf of @chacald.dcymt.

Thanks friend, glad you liked it 🤗♥️☕
Hey, coffee friends! How's your Sunday going?
This mug was a gift from about 10 years ago; it holds 300 ml approx. It was a gift from a dear friend, and don't let anyone use it, ever. I took this picture at my father's house, during the interstice when I came back to this home; it was December and as you can see it is a Christmas mug.
For me, it has the same intimate character as underwear 😏 It's not something I'm going to lend you. It's not something I want you to take if you come to my house, or I'll feel like I should never invite you over ever again 😒 But it's likely that if you're at my house you'll be able to see it if I leave it in plain sight while it dries after washing it 🤣
I keep my cup save in its can (sort of a piggy bank actually) and take it out when I feel Christmas is almost here. You may have seen it on some of my posts.
I think this “my cup” thing is an ancient thing 👵 just like this is my cup for this and this is my cup for that... I remember my mom would drink coffee in any cup until one day I saw her drinking coffee in the same ceramic cup over and over again. I guess up to that point, she didn't have a favorite cup. There are also cups that she liked to keep on the cupboard for eternity and not because she didn't like them but because she didn't want someone to break them. In the end, the same thing happened to me.
I remember that back in the days my parents had a very fine porcelain set of coffee cups, but my father used to drink his coffee from one of the cups that had a broken handle. Maybe you are right that this “my cup” custom dates back to untold times… 😁 I can imagine the Stone Age people drinking wine only from their stone. 😂
A chipped stone 🤣
This "my cup" thing might be as old as the first beverage ever; just think about it: it was the substitute for our own hands.
This mug is 14 years old, it was a gift from my son the Friday before Mother's Day in a celebration in his classroom and it was a very nice gift because he gave it to me with a lot of emotion. I used it a lot but nowadays I keep it in storage and take it out from time to time.
That happens, right? It's a beautiful gift and a tender gesture from your son. My son gave me clothes when he was little; they are all worn out but I still keep most of them 😄
Yes, that's how we moms are 🤷♀️
How cool the comparison you made of the underwear with the coffee mug, but it's just like that, it's the same feeling.
Very nice your favorite mug, a nice souvenir ♥️
My mug, my panties 🤣😂
😂
That tradition of keeping cups stored and drinking from old cups, for fear of breaking them, my home was one of them, I remember telling him. My mom, when would we use it and she told me one day about this 😅🤭
I try to use every cup I have at home. I don't want them to become heirlooms that people use for the first time when I've already gone to the beyond, you know. But the tradition of keeping them safe so they don't break, I think that's in a gene and we pass it on to our daughters, haha.
You are right, that's why I don't have relic cups either, I use them whenever I please.
As a general rule at my home, my coffee cups serve only my coffee and no one has the chance to use them even once. 😁
I love my espresso coffee cup and have a special feeling towards it. It is a very precious present from a Japanese friend and I have it for more than 10 years now.
I think it has the best size for a 40 ml espresso shot. If anyone ever breaks it, it will be the saddest day in a very longn period of time. 😁
About 5 years ago my wife made me a present and bought me a set of DeLonghi espresso glass cups. I loved them, because they were quite perfect. One day my wife accidentally broke one of them and I continued using the other one, but one day… a guest came home, I decided to serve coffee in it and that was the last time someone used it… Broken… just as broken as I was in that day. 😁
From that day, I am the only person using my espresso coffee cup.
Hello! In these pictures you can see your mug in all its beauty. The blue of the ornament is extraordinary!!! To have kept it so long is a work of care, affection (and zeal). I wish it will last you all your life and you can inherit it intact! However, there is a Japanese art, which I have no doubt you know, kintsugi. I find it very beautiful to inscribe affection in a history of scars.
Long live your Japanese mug!
Japanese art has always been very interesting for me and it has some special pure beauty… simple and clean! I love this coffee cup!
A cup of Japan! Is beautiful! That's what I think about cups, and in general about material things, their value is their history and only the person who uses them knows it.
This exact cup has always been a special one to me and I hope that it will serve its duty looong, long time!
So, take care of it!
We get fond of coffee cups haha, especially if they bring back fond memories. The Japan mug is beautiful, I wouldn't trade it for any other.
It has to always be in my hands! Never give it to anything!
I think it's great friend your rule of respect for your mug, hahahaha, that's how my dad raised me and Amis sisters!
Especially if your mug has a great sentimental value for you!
Happy day 🙏
This one has the most sentimental value for me and will try to keep it always in my hands… safe and intact 😁
My most personal coffee mug is like 10 years old as well. And it's also breakable. Long live your Japanese mug! It's really pretty; I hope it survives your kids 😄
Glass mugs have a short life expectancy. The reason seems obvious, but ceramic mugs don't like to land on the floor so easily, or bang into other things so easily. If I had a mug store, I would include a lot of translucent glass mugs on my display shelves; this would ensure that I sell a lot of them because they don't last much 🤣
Selling glass mugs or shots is a good decision! 😁 you have some excellent business spirit!
Says you! Haha... Perhaps, my friend, when I get "bored" of my laughable paycheck.
A beautiful cup that you show us. I like the decoration with that beautiful blue. If I were you too I wouldn't lend my cup to anyone. The glass cups are also very pretty, they show off the beautiful color of our beloved coffee.
I leave you a cup of coffee for this sunday.☕
I like to drink coffee from transparent glass cups. It really shows the beauty of coffee. The blue color also makes the ceramic cup very beautiful.
Thanks for stopping by!
Very nice cups by the way, gifts from friends and family, they come with a beautiful sentiment, I wouldn't share my cups either, I give them small cups when they visit 😅
Always the cheapest cups to the visitors! They have to be thankful for the good coffee I brew them and should value the product itself! 😁
I hadn't thought about it from that point of view, and you are very right about that 😅
Nothing like our favorite mug to add flavor and enjoyment to coffee. ☕💜 It's better to take care of our favorite mug 😊.
Experience lived, learning gained. All the mugs I have have been gifts but the one I use is quite special because it was labeled exclusively for me. The day they break the handle, I throw it away because I don't like broken mugs. 🌼🌼🌷💐🌻☕
I do NOT like when a visitor drinks from my coffee cup.
As a kid, I got mad at my mum for serving a visitor tea in my teacup.
My mum asked me why I did not like it, and I said,
"I do not want a stranger to drink from my tea cup because I don't know where their mouths have been."
My mother was not amused and I got a good spanking for being rude.
Now, when I see my husband serve visitors coffee in my coffee cup, I feel betrayed, but I do not tell him because he will tell the visitors and embarrass me.😂
That answer to your mom was spot on 😂.
My house has separate cups for visitors. My husband doesn't use my mug for fear of breaking it, he is sometimes a bit clumsy 😄 so no problem with someone using my favorite mug ☕.
As a kid, I thought that's how it should be. I try to apply that now, but I have limited space.
I bet your husband would hate it if he broke yours, and it's amazing how differently people feel about their coffee cups:)))
Jaja well yes, most people are very territorial with their favorite cups of coffee.
Wow, we really don't know where people come from or what they've been doing, you're right to be concerned. It's a question of health.🤭
You made me smile with your comment.
I leave you a delicious cup of coffee for this day.☕
Enjoy!
🙃 100%
#cleanminds
😅
Thanks for the coffee ☕️
Kids always tell the truth and they never regret. That’s why they are so pure. Maybe more people should be like them…😁
I also don’t like people to drink of my precious coffee cups, because they have some added value… all of them. If I had an ordinary set of coffee cups and they were also my regular everyday cups, there would not be a problem at all when someone drinks from them. I just love my Japanese porcelain and want to keep it safe and intact. 🤷🏻
Yes, I think we would have less problems if we just spoke our minds freely 😆
Your Japanese porcelain is gorgeous, so I understand that.
Imagine if they accidentally broke it?😅
If they accidentally break my Japanese porcelain, that will be their last day to live in this house. 😂
Just kidding of course… I will try to find a way to live my life without the porcelain, I guess… 🤷🏻
🤣🤣 You shouldn't be embarrassed, just tell him outside of visits. You saw the fights with my husband 🤣. But it's only temporary because after a while he does it again 😜.
Haha! Hubby will find it funny and tell for entertainment. I should tell him though 😆
I believe that 😂
Our cups are like our underwear, it is something exclusive to you, it is not shared, not even with the person who sleeps with you 😁
Since I was little I didn't have a cup, I felt bad that visitors were served in our cups, we were many families together, I didn't really like drinking from a cup every day, to do so I had to wash the cup myself🤭
Well said!💯
Haha! My mum insisted on serving visitors from "my cup" so I would volunteer to wash the cup when visitors left.
Everyone in my family ridiculed me because I spent about half an hour washing the cup, pouting my mouth, and grumbling about catching germs from strangers.
My family thought that I was 'possessed' by the devil.🤣
Memories that we never forget, we keep them in mind and when we have the opportunity, we bring them out. Poor us, they didn't understand us 🥲
Lol you don't say!!😂
Maybe you can keep your cup somewhere where he can't find it.
Haha! If hubby is the one making coffee for a visitor, I might refuse a coffee and quickly grab my cup and hide it.
It's hilarious to watch him looking for my cup in the cupboard. After he serves the visitor in another cup, I'll sneakily place my cup back in the cupboard. Then I might say, I change my mind, I'll have a coffee... reach for my cup... and he'll say, "I was looking for that". ... and I reply, "Oh, were you?" 😂 🤣
My husband has a very lax tongue too, to make me look bad totally on purpose when it comes to this "nonsense" of mine--"nonsense" 😒--It's something that amuses him. So I hold my tongue when visitors are present.
About that teacup, my mother had the same attitude. She wouldn't let me have "my own" things. Everything was everyone's in my house; we "had to share" Damn it! 😂
They just don't get it that it "a crime" not nonsense 😂
Yeah, my mother was shocked to hear me say the teacup was mine 🤣
We were six children at home! "Share" was like "nothing here is actually yours" 😑 Anyway, we grow up and get to have things that are actually all yours. Then husband happens 🤣
I can relate to that 100% 🤣
I have always thought, @marlyncabrera, that individual, personal things are very important, not everything can be collective.
As for whether or not to lend coffee cups, that is also very personal and only a person who is initiated into coffee rituals understands it.
Totally. I understand that sharing is healthy because it makes us aware; it's a fact that we cannot value the generosity that others have with us if we ourselves are not generous. This is just as true as the fact that true coffee drinkers can be misunderstood by people who don't drink coffee or are just occasional drinkers. The "this is my cup" thing is an old habit for a reason 👵
It's a very funny story 🤭.... But valid your point.
In my family we are all possessive (Blessing / curse? I don't know 😅) but I remember one morning I was late for school, my mom served equal breakfasts for my 2 sisters and mine, I sat down to breakfast running. That frothy and delicious latte with arepas. When I realized I was in my younger sister's seat, with her plate and cup 🫣. My sister stormed out of the house and preferred not to eat breakfast that day 😮💨.
OMG!! she was that extreme?? Anyways alot of people are like that though, I can be like that sometimes too. What happened to the breakfast though?😀
My mother divided the breakfast among the others. Then she made us promise to respect each other's cups and things. Since that day I have the habit of drinking coffee only in my cup. 😅☕
que buena respuesta le diste a tu madre, de seguro ella se quedo pensativa y no le quedarían mas ganas de volverlo hacer.
Hello everyone, happy afternoon. I ask permission to join the conversation! ☕
Despite being a coffee fanatic , I had never had a special mug until my daughter gave me one that I consider to be very nice as well as generous. She gave it to me just before she left to live in Colombia, where she resides and now I don't drink coffee in a cup other than that one.
At home I have the advantage that only my husband and I drink coffee and I'm the one who serves it, so so far there has been no problem in this regard :)
Oh! and here I show you the one I regularly used to drink coffee with milk, another of my weaknesses in the morning! My generous mug nowadays also plays that role :)
Hey, @esthersanchez! Happy to see you here ☕️ Not only that ceramic mug your daughter gave you is beautiful and so perfect for your coffee but it comes with a dose of love. I treasure the things my son gave me before he went to live abroad, no mugs among those, though.
The second cup you show us holds a good amount of latte. I have one like that, but it's plain. I use it to keep my homemade coconut milk in the fridge, which is for latte also 😋
Yes, it's the same as mine, I just forgot to put the lid on for the photo :) I love the taste of coconut milk coffee. It's special too!!!(>‿◠)✌
I love coconut milk latte! I'm making more milk righ now. I'm waiting for the coconuts to cool a little 😁
(っ^▿^)۶☕🌟☕٩(˘◡˘ )
I love those faces. Here's an Asian version 😄 (`◡´)
Yes, they are beautiful! 🤗☕
Hello
What a beautiful mug your daughter gave you, and what a special gift, it's a nice keepsake.
I loved the Mickey mug too.
Yessssss, thank you, I loved it from the moment I saw it and I haven't stopped using it!
The Mickey mouse mug has been with me even longer and I still love it! :)
The present from a beloved person is always a special one. And although it looks really nice the real value comes from the reference to your daughter.
I totally agree. She gave me the gift of her love in that mug. I love drinking coffee and she knew how to make an excellent decision (design and size) when she gave it to me. (✿◠‿◠)
Nothing like our favorite mug to add flavor and enjoyment to coffee.
Let's toast to a week full of good coffee ☕☕💜
Cheers!!
(っ^▿^)۶☕🌟☕٩(˘◡˘ )
Your mugs are very pretty, a gift from a daughter, I know what that mug means to you. We are the same, I am the one who serves coffee
Yes, it's a nice touch because it denotes attention on her part as if to say, "I know you like coffee, I'll give you something to drink with pleasure" :)
That's it
A very generous cup to drink coffee with milk. It is a very large size, I imagine that with a cup like this you only drink coffee twice a day.
I leave you a cup of coffee☕
Yes, you got it right!
When I drank my latte at this rate I didn't fill it up completely, although sometimes, when I had it with toast, I filled it up a bit more than usual and I only did it in the morning and in the afternoon :) Thanks for the coffee!
Excellent Sunday conversation coffee lovers.
Today I come to participate in the new conversation of the week with lots of coffee and flavor.
I have my favorite mug in which I always drink coffee, personally I feel very good drinking coffee in this mug, which has no special history, my mother bought it and gave it to me as a gift. Until I read the comment I had not paid much attention if a visitor uses the cup, but with what our dear companion @millycf1976 said, word more, words less, "I do not know where the visitor's mouth could be" I started to think seriously on this point and indeed that some infection or disease can be transmitted. So next time I will think twice before lending my cup. Haha.
That was my answer to the weekly conversation question. I'll keep reading you in the comments.☕
Great start of the week!🍀
Yeah Herpes can be transmitted from sharing the same cup or utensils and the thought of that scares me more than anything.
One more reason not to share my cups, next time I say, don't use it, I don't know where your mouth was🤭😅
Now you know better! 😂
The truth is that if you wash your cup well, you won't get herpes, hehe. But I understand the fear; you look away for a second and boom! Herpes. It's best to make it clear that no one should touch your cup, among other things.
To start with, I hate to share utensils with people. I have a particular cup for my coffee and I don’t share it with others as I am so scared of contracting Herpes from people
.
In all honesty if a visitor uses my cup I will try to keep my cool and not yell at them but I will politely tell them afterwards not to use it again.
Sharing a cup is not my thing, that's why I'm selective about visiting cups, can you imagine I'd care if that happens😁
I'm really careful. I always wish they'd wash the cups well at the cafe 😒
I particularly use several cups for my coffee, but my favorite is this one because it has a sentimental value, it is a gift from my love. I don't allow anyone else to use it so they don't break it, that's why every time I have a family visit I tell them, I'm sorry, you will NOT drink with this one.
I always set limits whether with family or friends, it's the only way to avoid bad moments because mugs are breakable objects and even more so when other people are not so careful.
You are very right, when the cup is lent to someone there is always the possibility that it could break. Not all people have the same level of care as others.
I leave you a cup of coffee.☕
Very true, that's why I prefer not to lend them out and avoid a bad time. 😅
Thank you for that cup of coffee, it looks exquisite.
We must take care of our relics, the best way is not to share it, it sounds selfish but it is better this way than getting upset about having used it.
I think it's not being selfish.... But he who lends his favorite mug to cry stays.
I agree! When our cup is made of a material that breaks, and even more so if it breaks easily, we're even more reluctant to lend them. But I confess that I wouldn't lend my favorite mug even if it were made of iron 🙊
Ha ha ha ha @marlyncabrera you are exclusive. Of course that mug isn't loaned to anyone.😃
My cups don't touch them please..... thank you 😊
I've said several times that I like my own mugs and I don't share them. I have many, the truth I don't know how many mugs I have to drink coffee, but my favorite for ever and ever is this one:
It has with me since 2012 when my mother set up in the house a sale of perfumery and miscellaneous. Among these things I saw this beautiful and strange mug of a little dog. I bought it and since then it accompanies me to the office, to the workshop and wherever I go. I feel that this character encourages me with his expression and accompanies me. At home and wherever I am, everyone knows that my mugs, especially this one, are untouchable.
Hello hello coffee lovers friends ☕, happy afternoon to all 🙏.
Talking about coffee cups, at home since I was little dad got us used to each one using only his cup or mug, I remember he was so strict about that that if he saw us using someone else's cup, that was a sure punishment, hehehe so, that custom I took it to my home, at home everyone has his cup and mug, and, there are separate cups and mugs for when visitors arrive.
It is impossible for them to use my 🍵 cup because I keep it in the fridge, yes sir, in the fridge, hahaha, and I don't think a visitor will open the fridge looking for a cup when there are cups outside, that's my strategy to keep mine! hehehehehe
For now I have 2 special mugs, a transparent one where I drink my morning coffee, and the one that some students gave me for Mother's Day, where I usually drink coffee with milk!
See you there...@cinnccf.
Greetings.
