Coffee break, a (not so boring) Love story...
Coffee is a noble food, for God's sake... It can be used at any time, it is a drink that can also be enjoyed cold, hot, lukewarm. With sugar, without sugar. Combined with other ingredients: milk, cocoa, chocolate, cinnamon, oatmeal, etc... It can be used to bring together two people who don't know each other, and start a path towards the most ardent romance; or serve as a kind ‘thanks but no thanks’ on a date... In my case, for the last few hours of my weekend, it was my Friday night companion....
Let me give you a bit of context, shall I? My boyfriend and I had too much, seriously; I'm not exaggerating, too much time without going out; just the two of us, no kids, no distractions around us one night together. If my memory serves me correctly, I think we hadn't allowed each other time together since October last year to spend time with each other. You know, when a couple goes on a date, it's not like when most people go on a date.... At least, not with us. We tend to reserve that action to fan the flame of our relationship and show each other (and this point is key) that the willingness to want to be with each other is still intact.
So, there I was... It's a beautiful bar-restaurant with no one but my partner, at night, the two of us together and energised and exchanging glances (seriously, I love that part. The electricity comes on. And no, I'm not talking about electricity...). The coffees follow each other. Some slices of dessert accompany the occasion, and I still feel as a woman that 5 years have passed but I still want to be next to the being that has inspired; not only this post but many other things... Sometimes, to the wise, few are the words that need to be expressed.
He orders a ‘Vanilla Latte with cinnamon’, I order a ‘Cappuccino’. We had previously had dinner, but the space for ‘dessert’ was still intact. I don't think I'm a guru in anything but believe me when I tell you, you always have to leave room for ‘dessert’. Both literally and figuratively. The coffee break, on this occasion was just the ‘what’, what happened there inspired other things, but what is becoming clearer and clearer to me is that it was definitely never about budgeting or bragging. It is absolutely more valuable, for me, to have the initiative to spend (together) a phenomenal evening, than to believe that it won't happen because you don't have the money....
On this last point, I am referring in general terms to people who love excuses. I didn't go with the unequivocal idea that I was going to ‘drink coffee and eat sweets’ with my boyfriend. We just wanted to accompany our date with the drink that has no timetable, no bad times, and never bothers us: coffee. If you'll excuse me, almost all of the most memorable moments of my life, at some point, include coffee somewhere in those memorable days. Last Friday was no exception either. There will always be excuses, being a couple, to postpone the romance but as with coffee, we decide to take one more sip and enjoy our moment.... For me, that's a love story.
Exquisite coffee

Thank you for having the time to passed by, sweetie @cinnccf
Love is the one who inspires us to everything. And as you say, what better companion than coffee for all kinds of occasions. Delicious flavors of coffee you ordered. Late with cinnamon is a delight. But I love cappuccino more for being strong.
I loved your content, so full of love.
Full of love, you said? Oh,thank you... For me,it's about honesty and to create something unique but closer to all of those. Picture this: who doesn't enjoy coffee in any way, shape or form? Most of us, surely. Well, if you include a bit of love it would be just awesome. 🫶🏽🫶🏽🤌🏼
The coffee looks so good! Stay inlove lovebirds 💓
