Happy Sunday, Hive!
I just came across @cinnccf 's post a little a while ago and just realized it's Cinnamon Cup Coffee 's first anniversary today. Yay! So let me take this opportunity to send my best wishes for this awesome community. I'm just roughly a month with them, however it feels like I am with the community for years. That's how amazing being in this group of wonderful caffeinated people.
Today, I am going to tell you a story that happened on our second wedding anniversary.
One of our friends online had made a post on Facebook asking about what everyone thought would be a good or suitable wedding anniversary day. How to make it special and memorable? Some people talked about what amount of money to spend or what gift to buy or what vacation to take etc. etc.
My husband and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary (some years ago) with only Php80 (Philippine Pesos) in our pocket (that is equal to less than $2.00). You heard it. Haha. I see some eyes rolling. But wait, there's more.
It was totally spontaneous and unplanned. We went out of town and walked at the beach. We only spent the money on Jeepney (Philippine Public Transportation) fare and 2 bottles of soda. We stayed at the beach (one we hadn't been to before) exploring and climbing rocks and taking photos for about 4 hours under the sun.
It was a good day. As a matter of fact it was one of our best days ever. There were no time limitations. My mom had our daughter (she was still a toddler then), we had each other, nobody was at the beach but us. It really in its own way was very romantic.
So, what makes an anniversary truly special in my eyes? Setting time aside together - literally no clocks and doing something you didn't plan to do that you hadn't done before and don't worry about the money, you can be dirt broke and make this day special.
By the way, our wedding anniversary is the day after the Valentine's Day, so it's coming real soon. Before I forget, when we got home that day, we had a cup of hot coffee in the house together and started watching some series on TV.
That was it. Nothing luxurious. Just plain awesome and simple full of good memories.
This is my entry for Cinnamon's Cup Of Coffee's One Year Anniversary - Posting Contest . Thank you, everyone! Cheers!
One love,

When there is love, there 80 pesos is enough to celebrate special day together. Just love is necessary there and you couple had or have that. Long live sis! Beautiful photos as always 💕❤️💖
