We went out yesterday to go check the prices of some things that @octocel is gathering for a woodworking job at her apartment. She is missing some sandpaper, sealer, solvent and other things.
I come along to discuss the prices and how much of the thing she actually needs. It is a tough job to be in this position. Why? She asks a lot and goes from being on board with one idea and then wanting to do something entirely different. It is what it is. I just tag along mention what I think and let her do the rest. The project is not mine so I cannot discuss it too much.
After going to the place and deciding not to buy anything due to the price tag on many other products, we went back to the mall to sit down for a moment until we went up to the food court to get some coffee. Well, she got me some coffee and she bought some food for herself since she had had a light lunch.
The coffee at Hato Grill is becoming the go-to option for our dates. It is not as good as the ones we used to have. And on a side note, the new place that built on top of our former spot opens today. It was built on a whiff. Anyhow, the Hato options are many. The service is good. And that much is enough to get the rest done for us.
We also had some cakes with it. I went with chocolate and she went with tres leches. Whoever makes these desserts knows their way around bakery. We have more a had a bad dessert at the place. That is a good note.
The coffee was good as well. I have learned that unless I want to have a very sour cup, I need to ask for Americano or Loungo. Anything else will not be as good as I need. I guess that this is part of the trial and error period to make a place your meed regular spot.
