Coffee On The Beach

in Cinnamon Cup Coffee24 days ago (edited)

I inhaled the aroma of coffee mixed with the distinctive scent of the beach. The sand and the slight fishiness of the water lapping against the waves. Also, the wet scent of freshly lapped sand.

It was a beautiful afternoon. I hadn't set foot on the beach in a long time. For me, life is full of things to do. And we don't get to do the things we love every day. To live a balanced life, we also have to do things we sometimes even hate.

So, this time I was here on a beautiful beach, even though the weather was getting dark and it looked like it was about to rain. But the beauty of this beach was truly something to enjoy for what it was.

Actually, I went to the beach. This wasn't really about the beach. I wanted to try the coffee, which people say is delicious. It had good reviews. That's why it's so crowded, especially in the afternoon.

For just $1.50, I got a hot cappuccino. It was a beautiful experience. I didn't take many photos of my coffee order. But I was more focused on the beautiful views around here.

As you know from my previous post, I was traveling to visit my husband's family. It was quite a long trip. So my husband took me to the beach.

He said that after the important family event was over, he would take me to the beach. I didn't mind. Whether I went to the beach or not, the important thing was that the main event was over. Then my husband kept his promise and took me to the beach.

Well, since the beach area has an expensive entrance fee, we opted to visit cafes or coffee shops with direct beach access. That's a key trick. Ehehe.

Here I am now at Kamalika Beach Cafe. With a beautiful beach vibe, it doesn't need much decoration. Just the addition of lights that become even more beautiful after dark.

I see so much happiness and joy on this beach. Look at the many young people chatting and spending their youthful time.

There are also small families playing on the beach. I felt it was a precious and joyful moment for everyone who witnessed it. As we all know, it's not easy to spend time with family, right? Like this time, I had time with my husband to spend coffee on the beach.

If my house were near this beach, I'd definitely come here more often, but since my house is far from the beach, it feels like a stroke of luck to be able to visit this beautiful beach. Oh yes, if it's a really sunny day and you can see the sunset, the blue of the sea water will beautify this beach. But we have to accept what God has given us right now, right? So, even though the atmosphere was a little dark, I felt a sweet sense of gratitude for the surrounding atmosphere, especially the delicious coffee I was drinking.

Even though this coffee only costs a dollar and a half, it tasted very good. It was strong enough with a hint of sweetness, just what I wanted.

I hope you have a wonderful time with your family in the midst of your busy schedules. And don't forget to drink your favorite coffee or tea for a mood boost. See you!

Sun - Sand - Coffee and Beech... ohh...Sun was missing yet it makes a perfect day to have.

Yeah the sun is hidden by dark cloud ehehe

Coffee and beach an amazing feelings. Have a good day!

For sure! Good feeling ❤️🌸

But you know the vibe in a beach become extra cool when the weather is quite gloomy. It adds something in there ┏(^0^)┛. And seeing this made me miss the beach even more. Been months since I last visit one with the fam. And its so pretty in there, you'll have a relaxing time in there for sure, with the sounds of waves as your soundtrack. UwU. I'm also curious how the place would look like at night. They have pretty lights hanging everywhere even in the tree ♪┌|∵|┘♪

But We afraid of after night because the higher waves and wind. So better to go home before everything dark, ehehe

It's been so long since I've bought coffee outside. $1.50 sounds expensive to me !!!

I remember when I had my first job..1970...and my mother was living with me. She was not used to buying prepared food outside. Very thrifty. I was tired of being frugal. I cashed my paycheck, put the money on a dresser for both of us to spend. She asked me if she could save money from that cash and I said, "No." I was a terrible person then (also very young). It was my cry for freedom. That was the first time in my life I saw my mother buy a pastrami sandwich from a deli. It was to her an outrageous extravagance to have someone prepare food she could make more cheaply at home.

I think I've become my mother. It bothers me to pay so much money for a coffee I can make at home for a few cents:)

Life is strange, isn't it?

Of course, you did get the beach. $1.50 was a pretty modest price to get the beach, I think.

Each region has different prices in Indonesia. The areas I visited had high wages, while the coastal areas were relatively cheap. Some fancy places even had coffee for as much as $3-5, hehe.

I've experienced the same thing as you. There are many things that feel wasteful, but especially clothes and shoes.

But when we travel, we decide to try something new. :)

This is a nice view and always a nice idea to sip a coffee by the beach. 🫶

That combination of beach views and a good cappuccino sounds like pure balance. Slow moments like these really matter in the current times when the world is so mad.

That's a tricky gateway to the beach. The Caffè area looks beautiful, and the coffee should be delicious because it looks like it.

This is a great relation spot to enjoy the beautiful beach views with hubby 😍

life feels really busy with school and responsibilities, so moments like coffee by the beach remind me how important it is to slow down and enjoy simple happiness.

If I own a land by the beach, I want to have an alfresco dining area like this..
such a relaxing ambiance!

Thank you, Milly. Have a great day! Don't forget to have coffee today :)

Maybe you didn't have sun this time, but the beach and that bar look great either way! It would be nice to pay a visit more often, but it is what it is...
Thanks for sharing!

I live near the beach, and I know very well what that feeling is like. Such a privilege!

Hope you can have more experiences like this one, @anggreklestari.

The perfect view for me and love walking around the place was so quiet beautiful. The people around was so happy bonding with their own family and love ones. The last picture I see was looks like a romantic wedding venue for couple. I love seeing the lights hanging people under is enjoying the whole vibes.

Hi @anggreklestari,

How wonderful that you managed to go to the beach! The scent and the sea breeze, as well as the rhythmic sound of the waves, are so good for our energy and vibration. And what a clever trick, eh! Haha… you did well!

Well, since the beach area has an expensive entrance fee, we opted to visit cafes or coffee shops with direct beach access. That's a key trick. Ehehe

That is a pretty clever tricks mbak, although sometimes it is not the case here in Bali, since the entrace fee have to be paid at the only entrace gate.
but most of the beach fee is not that expensive tough here, arounf 5-10K Rupiah perperson. :)

But when you brought car and motorcyle, we have to pay again for that :( so expensive

wow .... Coffee at the beach is the Perfect combo.. Beautiful beach with amazing cafe... it seems that you had great day out...

Great! I really think it's a wonderful idea, coffee on the beach, great. I hope more coffee shops decide to bring this idea to life.
