Hello, Batam City Stories. This is a my first blog in Batam City. Oh, that's a beautiful city in Indonesia, and closest to the country. Singapore. For the information, in some tourist spots in Batam City we will be able to see the iconic tower of Singapore.
I am very happy to be able to take my first vacation with my husband. We did our first flight for the first time after marriage. You could say this is a pleasant fun trip for us after I had a miscarriage last month.
After we lost our prospective child in my womb, we decided to travel to Batam City. Very feasible to do.
Go to the Wangi Melati Coffee House
Life always goes on with all the chaos that occurs. There must be calm that we create. Sitting well, breathing with mindfulness. One of his best friends is having a delicious cup of coffee. Do you agree with that?
That day, my husband and I had just finished checking out of Batam View Beach Resort. The distance of the resort is far from the city center. Also, we have not choose the next place to go. Because my husband and I are very spontaneous people in determining our next destination to go for. UPPPS.
We decided to stop at a restaurant that was still in one management with Batam View Beach Resort. That place is named Wangi Melati Coffee House. We also did breakfast in this place before.
The Wangi Melati Coffee House is a dining place that seems old. That's true because this building has long been standing together with the resort itself. Traditional appearance can be seen in this place. It's just that from the old atmosphere we can get a classic impression that feels peaceful.
Ornaments with traditional objects are used for the decoration of this place. Not much can look amazing, but fortunately, The Wangi Melati Coffee House feels comfortable. There is nothing more important than comfort. Right, right?
The chairs used to look luxurious in his day. It looks classic right now. Quite strong and comfortable to support the back of the travelers.
Hot Cappuccino
My first order came to my desk. I ordered a hot cappuccino. My first view of a coffee menu is pretty good. Hot cappuccino by The Wangi Melati Coffee House is served beautifully. We can see several layers in one medium-sized glass.
So, how about the taste? Hot cappuccino by The Wangi Melati Coffee House feels fine on my tongue. There's nothing I need to comment on here.
The most important thing is I like the taste. There's nothing wrong and I just enjoyed the classic atmosphere here.
While drinking coffee, my husband and I talked about our next goal. It turns out that Hot Cappuccino by The Wangi Melati Coffee House can make my mind open again. Panic can go and I can think calmly. That's easy, I just need coffee. It Works!
Spring Rolls
Do not judge the book's contents only from the cover, although the first assessment often affects our assessment. Spring Rolls which is my second order after coffee, came in a rather charred condition. I am not underestimated and keep smiling accepting the spring rolls.
Spring rolls are served simply with vegetable salads that look fresh as garnishes. Vegetable salads are served using a cabbage. Do not forget also to be served the spicy sauce with a small sauce container on those Spring Rolls plates.
I was shocked but happy. The spring rolls that I am bitten are feeling CRIPSY on the outside. The texture of the vegetables in it also feels very fresh and crunchy. This is the first time I feel the filling of Spring Rolls like this. It feels like a fresh salad filled with the Spring Rolls. In fact, I could not guess the exact way they used so the vegetables were very good.
In appearance, Spring Rolls by The Wangi Melati Coffee House is not too amazing. But then, I was shocked by the taste of delicious and different spring rolls from Spring Rolls that I had eaten before.
A different favorable experience that I feel in Batam City I am grateful that God. Had told me to stop in this place and order their menus that are worthy of me to remember for the rest of my life.
My body feels as happy as my tongue that feels good treats from The Wangi Melati Coffee House. It feels like I want to dance in the air. Oh, that was a beautiful moment.
For that moment, I have to pay around $7 including tax. The price of food and beverage from hotel, includes standard. Plus that my tongue feels like a new thing, it is worthy of money to be spended.

I'm sorry for your loss, I hope that you heal from it. I've never imagined the pairing of coffee and spring rolls but they both looked so delicious. I'm glad you get to enjoy the Batam city, I could see the Marina Bay Sands from one of your photos. :)
After losing my mom and my dad, then my pregnancy, I feel stronger than before. Indeed so hard to through all of that but with my husband beside me, I always can found something to make all easier 🙂❤️
