My 2026 Hive Resolution | Consistency and Efforts

If there’s one thing the new year reminds me of, it’s this time moves fast, and if you don’t intentionally show up for your goals, they slowly fade into the background. This year, I’m not making loud promises or unrealistic plans. I’m making a clear and honest decision to be consistent.

My high resolution for this new year is simple. I want to write more. I want to create at least one article every single day. In addition to that, I want to post short content too, at least ten short posts daily. Not because I want to pressure myself, but because I want to build a habit that sticks.

Last year was a complete rollercoaster. It was filled with so many activities, responsibilities, and unexpected moments. Some days were productive and exciting, while others were overwhelming and exhausting. I had ideas, drafts, and plans, but I wasn’t consistent on Hive. I would post actively for a while, then disappear for days or even weeks. Life got busy, and writing slowly became something I postponed.

Looking back now, I understand why. I kept waiting for the perfect time to write when I wasn’t tired, when my schedule was free, when my mind felt calm. But those perfect moments rarely came. Instead, there were busy mornings, long workdays, and evenings where all I wanted to do was rest. And because I waited, I missed many chances to show up.

This year, I want things to be different. I want to write even when my schedule is tight. I want to write on busy days, slow days, and ordinary days. One article a day may sound small, but to me, it means discipline. Writing ten short posts a day means training myself to observe my life, my thoughts, and my lessons more closely.

Short posts help me share simple ideas, something I learned, something I felt, or something I noticed during the day. They don’t need to be perfect or long. They just need to be real. The longer articles give me space to reflect properly, tell my stories, and connect deeper with readers. Together, they help me grow as a writer.

I know consistency won’t always be easy. There will be days when I’m tired, days when motivation is low, and days when life demands more than I planned. But I’ve learned that consistency isn’t about being perfect. It’s about showing up, even when it feels uncomfortable, even when the effort feels small.

Last year taught me important lessons. It taught me that being busy is part of life, not an excuse. It taught me that progress doesn’t come from occasional effort but from steady commitment. Most importantly, it taught me that showing up regularly matters more than showing up only when things feel right.

This year, I’m choosing progress over pressure. I’m not competing with anyone else’s journey or pace. I’m building my own rhythm, one that fits into my real life. Writing will no longer be something I do only when everything else is done. It will be something I make time for, no matter how small the effort.

As I step into this new year, I’m excited and hopeful. Not because I expect everything to be easy, but because I’ve made a decision. A decision to be consistent. One article a day. Ten short posts a day. One step at a time. No matter how busy life gets, I’m choosing to show up.
