Some years ago I had the opportunity to travel for work to Santa Cruz de la Sierra in Bolivia. In our case, we were sharing the Venezuelan and Bolivian work, in an alliance between both governments to exploit the hydrocarbon of certain blocks in Bolivia. There comes a time when you get so close to your colleagues and perhaps as a kind gesture one of our Bolivian friends invited us to his house for a barbecue.

We all collaborated to buy the supplies and it was something like spending some time, disconnecting from the work side. This partner in particular was very kind to us and invited us to his home on several occasions. I really liked sharing with him and his family.

Perhaps his attentions were due to the fact that he had come to Venezuela and spent some time working here, he knew many of our customs and enjoyed them. Perhaps, sharing with us made him remember the pleasant moments he lived in our land.

My colleagues took the opportunity to take my picture while I was enjoying a cold beer. Right now, with it being so hot, I'm getting one just like the one in the photo.
