In the past I have shared information on the puppet workshop by @arrozymangophoto. These workshops are for the youth/children in the communities he is in. He has held a few of these workshops with excellent turnout and results. To build the puppets they use recycled materials (in other words items found in the garbage) which helps teach the importance of ecological mindset within the community. I will leave you a couple of links so you can read for yourself about the workshops. The first one is newer than the second. In the first link you will find information on helping out with a donation. I have donated to this cause a few times. Sometimes anonymous, and sometimes using my name. Even small donations are helpful because they add up as more and more people donate.

Now it is time to move into more photographs. The next photograph is from one of my apple trees last spring. We are getting close to spring this year and I am looking forward to my trees to be in bloom.

I think this next flower is a yellow begonia, but I do not guarantee it. I am drawn to bright flowers today, and this one fits my mood, or is lifting my mood.

Our final photograph is of two sunflower heads. Each one is a different variety. I have saved seed to plant a nice patch for the upcoming summer. It will be interesting to see what results I get from cross pollination.

I am using a Canon EOS Rebel T5 for most photographs, except where noted. I do have an older PowerShot Canon camera that I use from time to time. I have been using my phone camera for photos of plants in the plant room at times. Wildlife is usually taken by a stationary trail camera that takes photos based on motion.

I have seen black roses before, but do not recall if I have any in my photo collection. This summer I will keep an eye open for one when we go to the same rose garden.
I also look forward to spring. This year we had a warm winter, but still it can not be compared with spring, when the air itself is different. I have already set the stage for seedlings.
Our winter was milder than most, but now we get to see more sunlight and the sunlight is warmer. It is time to set up heat in my small greenhouse and begin seeding for the garden.
