This is a great question,. All 600+ users are on the chain, you can easily check who they are and how many are retained.
The account @pioneersupporter auto follows all new onboards via checkinwith.xyz. so if you go to https://ecency.com/@pioneersupporter/feed?no-reblog=true you can see all of these new users posting to chain.
The problem is that we dont have much hive power left to support them, and the system doesnt seem to be getting much support from other whales in the eco system, so retention is difficult for sure.
I would like to create a system to measure retention of this onboarding system, as its highly valuable since we have a blog for every single user showing that they are a real person, (no bots on https://ecency.com/@pioneersupporter/feed?no-reblog=true)
We also give them tasks in the check in with platform and as a comment under each checkinwith post that allows the users to learn how to use hive while earning if they complete the tasks. One way to measure retention would be to see if the HP balance of all the collective ppl bought in through checkinwith is growing or not

We are a blockchain, we don’t need trust we run blocks every 3 seconds. I’m just seeing fraud everywhere I look lately, my issue isn’t with this one project, but are u sure DHF doesn’t fund this? Indirectly,?

I fund this project. I appoint the people who tell me that they are onboarding real people. if you think these are fake onbaords, please let me know which are and we can investigate. but i very much doubt any of them are fake. in fact as far as i can see, it is the only project on hive that has ZERO bots or fake accounts, because people with good reputations on chain are saying these users are real and taking selfies with them to prove it
My issue is with fraud & waste & abuse via the DHF funded stuff, there’s been much!
Didn’t mean to poo poo something esp 100% self funded, as someone who’s worked in marketing and made commissions for signing people up for platforms & services, I just know the way these things play out and it’s 99% plus people never returning after bear minimum, normally 99.7 or so %
But if funded by you and in no indirect way by DHF, I certainly have no issue with it and I say thanks for self funding anything in a real seen in effect way 👍 I mean that very sincerely!
I default after years of seeing waste via things DHF funds for a time that involves onboarding is beyond jaded, it’s just automatically assuming waste and maybe in some cases actual purposeful fraud or abuse. And for good reason. But I definitely didn’t mean to assume by default the funding here! I really do appreciate it if 100% funded by people like you and not not DHF. I do think the rate of return sucks in general but it’s certainly effected by my career time spent making commissions of signing people up for services & platforms in a past job long ago in the 2000’s so jaded I am no doubt from personal experience!
