πŸ“ My off-the-internet fun things πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦

There were times in school (very few times) when we had a power outage, where our phones were down, powerbanks were low, and we couldn't stay online. We did a lot of gisting in the room, taking a walk outside in the evening, and just having fun without power.

In times like that, I like to reach out to friends to just hang out and stay chill, especially because there is not much we could do. I enjoy my friends' company a lot, just having fun, chilling out, gisting, playing, and all that. I never really want it to end.

If I had my way, I would be doing that most of my time in school, only that it will tell on my results. My friends won't even allow it because they don't want it to tell on their results too. πŸ˜…

Other than hanging out with friends during a power outage, I like to read. I have found reading to be a hobby I love. Growing up, I didn't usually do much reading. I thought of it as an additional stress to going to school, so I just totally avoided it.

But as I grew older and learned the importance of reading, I started to prioritize it even though I still didn't particularly like it. Then I found myself πŸ˜„. I realized that I enjoy reading so much.

When I saw people write on their profile in the hobby section that "I love reading," I used to think they had to write that to present themselves as smart because "there is no way any human on planet earth loves reading." Other than I had to go to school and study for exams, reading never occurred to me as a fun hobby. It initially seemed like punishment or what a person just had to do.

So, I find myself reading a lot during a power outage.

Another thing I find interesting is cleaning. I love a tidy environment. When I don't have serious work to do and I just want to feel good, I tidy up my environment. Both the end result of a tidy environment and the process of tidying up my environment are very satisfying.

I only hate it when I tidy my environment now and someone messes it up the next minute. "I don't have all the time in the world to be tidying up," so I would appreciate that when I do, it should last for a reasonable amount of time, say two or three days.

So, when I unplug, I tend to tidy up my environment so that I can feel good in a serene environment.

While writing this post, I found that there are a lot of things I would do during a power outage or when I decide to unplug from the internet. Some really simple and fun things. I'll save the rest for another post.

Cheers guys πŸ₯‚

Who knows? Maybe people who love reading also look at people who like cleaning and ask why would a person even enjoy cleaning?. To them you probably also want to appear as a neat person and nothing much. Hehe
Anyway, it’s actually a good thing that you make good use of your time to put things in order when you don’t have access to your phone.

πŸ˜…πŸ˜… I know there are people who definitely don't enjoy cleaning πŸ˜‚

I just find that I do enjoy it sometimes.

Thank youu
