The Tv Remote Scenario | The Gone Era • Digi-Prompts 026

Childhood memories are one of the things we can't really forget, back then we don't have much and our eyes weren't that open but we were satisfy with what we had then, what can we even do when it is not our business as a children, we only use what out parent provide, when growing up, I can't really remember if we ever had a black and white tv at home but the first time I saw one, I was amazed. Our landlord back then had one, the tv wasn't that big like the ones we have nowadays and they are always heavy with one huge hunchback, there is nothing liking hanging them except you want to break the wall and place it inside like Ac, since we can't go upstairs to always meet the landlord just to watch tv, we always have to peep through one of our neighbours window just to have a glimpse, the window was high so we do stand on containers and also switch position, you watch small, come down so the others can watch too, we don't even know what we were watch but it was fun.

Data decided to get his one Tv (Philip), it was bigger than the one our neighbor had and he also got an antenna to support it, we had to look for one big and long bamboo just to stand but we couldn't get enough channels, someone will have to go to the back of the window to rotate the bamboo and be shouting "as it shown" or "it is clear" just for us to see the channel we want or make it clear. Anytime there is light, our room is always the mini cinema because every children in the house will be available to watch one or two and some do receive punishment after if their parent call and they didn't answer on time. My most Favourite channel then was Sliverbird around 2:30pm just to watch cartoons like pinky and the brian, superman, sliverhawk etc, we literally run all the way home after closing around 2pm because we don't want to miss it. I cant really forgot when we broke the tv remove. I wan't to watch cartoon as usual and my sis was watching something else but I was too stubborn to even listen to her plead, I just try to grab the remote from her, the next thing was the "pa" sound, the plastic part broke, omo I had to find superglue just to stick it together before dad got back, he noticed though but we didn't confess.

We really enjoy tv back then, at times I do wonder how those that watch black and white tv get to enjoy it without the color part, you just had to assume they are wearing came cloth or just take their mind off it, Things have really change nowadays, we still have Tv but we rarely put it o, I only on mine if I want to play Pes. Since we now have mobile gadget, we can just port to media apps to watch the exact things we get to watch on tv, the era has gone and this era we are in currently might also be past tense in future when another option will come up and those family time through television is gone.
